I have taken my car for repair here twice now & find Stuart very genuine has fit my car repairs in at short notice too, some garages don't all have the same expertise as him so was very pleased to find this garage.
As a woman it's still sometimes an issue of trust. Over the years I learnt a lot from my husband about maintaining cars. Ours were always classic cars, so I was blessed to have a hubby who could do anything! Following a catastrophic health event, my husband can no longer do such things. Without my car, I could not do the things I have to - but I was stuck- the car needed some desperate basic care- and I'm sure it was only the good Lord keeping it from grinding to a halt! So I approached Griffin- about 20 odd years ago when my husband was working away the Radiator needed sorting ASAP- they did a good and proper job. I'm happy to say that all my fears were quashed the other week. I went along, explained my situation- gave them a list and agreed a date and price.... They were true gents without an agenda to rip me off...they also went above and beyond when the part I'd been given was wrong to magic the right one that very day!
