   In late June 2025 I dropped off a Citizen EcoDrive as it had stopped. They were initially helpful and said it may be a capacitor that needs replacing. It was tested and they updated me that it needed an entire Movement which would take about 3-weeks and cost £250, which I agreed to on those terms. 3-weeks passed, and so I was left to repeatedly chase this up and got updates that ranged from 1) They didn't know where the watch was, as they use a couple of different watch technicians in the area and couldn't say where it was at all, 2) Its being worked on by an external watch technician (no further details/timeline given), or 3) It needs to be worked on a piece at a time and then left for a while by the technician....(vague at best)..... Anyway, 5-months later they let me know it was now ready, coincidentally only within days of my demanding the watch back so I could take it elsewhere as this process was so appallingly handled so far. We discussed a discount due to the excessive time and awful customer service, as I was genuinely worried that it had been lost and that they had been stalling, which I was told would be raised with the manager but that they completely agreed. I said I would like the watch technicians details as I wanted to leave a review for other customers to consider. Today, after that 5-month period, I have now collected my watch. No discount for the poor service, but the lady at the shop not only refused this but took it further by telling me that I should be grateful, although I am not sure I should be thanking them for the privilege of paying the full £250 for a 5-month wait for a job that they assured me would take about 3 weeks. It turns out that the work undertaken was exactly what they said in the first place, nothing more, even though at one point they tried to insinuate it was due to delays around not knowing what the problem was, even though they had told me in the first place exactly what was needed. This does not inspire trust or confidence. They quickly refused to pass the watch technicians details, which prevents me from leaving an accurate and honest review for their specific services (or lack thereof). They did let it slip that the watch technician was part of their company, despite previously telling me it was an external watch technician who was working on the watch. When I raised that this was coming across as though it was just tough and that I should just pay the money, she disagreed and simply told me to leave. So, after receiving an awful level of customer service, left in the dark about my own posession, and received vague updates over a 5-month period for a job that I was specifically told would take a matter of 3-weeks, I was spoken to as though I was at fault somehow and l told not to come back. I will not be using them again and would recommend considering services elsewhere based upon my own experiences. Very disappointed indeed.

   My wife had a very nice diamond ring in a white gold shank but was unable to wear it together with her wedding ring and engagement ring, Bassams changed the shank for a yellow gold shank, first class service and craftsmanship, Highly recommend 10/10

   I went to Bassam's in Kidderminster and dropped off my 5 gold rings that needed resizing plus my necklace that required the hoop to be built back up due to wear and tear. I had a call within a day to say that they were all ready to be collected. I've collected all my jewellery today and I am so pleased with everything. It is so nice to be able to wear my rings again after over a year of them being sat in my jewellery box. Many thanks for doing a fantastic job.

   I took a ring there this week as it had cracked. It was repaired within 24 hours and at a very reasonable cost. I am going to return with more jewellery because I was so impressed with the work and did not feel ripped off.

   I took my mum engagement ring into k Bassam to have it re sized for me as my mother had given it to me for a 50th bday present. The ring means so much to me as I lost my father 5 years ago and my mother had a huge stroke a year ago, and to be given it meant the world I was worried about taking it any where and chosen K Bassam. They were so professional and made me confident to leave it with them. They had it resized and cleaned within 24hrs and it looked so beautiful. I would recomend there service to anyone.
