   What a lovely evening myself and my friend experienced at Sarah’s glass fusing workshop. Everything was explained clearly and no question felt too silly to ask.    My three daughter's and I had an awesome day on Saturday with Sarah and Chris, glass fusing and pottery. So much fun, great tuition and advice. So much glass to play with, lots of colours and bits and pieces to make what we wanted. Definitely recommend, no previous skill required

   I had the pleasure of taking a half day glass fusing & enamelling class with Sarah at her studio. Sarah was very friendly and enthusiastic with her craft and was able to guide me to make my own enamelled pendants and fused glass pieces. She allowed plenty of time for instruction and for the activity themselves.

   This is my second visit to Sarah but this time I decided to do a glass making class. Sarah is super knowledgeable about her craft and I learnt a lot in the time I was there. She helped me make some replacement cabochons for a ring I had made, I also made a glass pendant with my Dad’s ashes and also a lovely keepsake too. I can’t recommend her enough 5* all the way!

   I undertook Sarah's 3 in 1 glass experience and enjoyed a wonderful day of creativity with her in her garden studio. We covered enamelling, copper foiling and glass fusing and the whole experience was enlightening. As per other reviews, the lunch she supplied was also magnificient! 100% recommend - both the glass work and the lunch ;) The pictures below just give a little flavour and the final image is my fusing piece pre-kiln - it was intended to be very experimental!

   We spent a lovely morning glass fusing in Sarah's workshop. Sarah was very welcoming and explained everything we were going to do during the session, with enough health and safety to put us at our ease and make us feel safe! We were able to design and make several pieces with Sarah giving advice and suggestions without taking over! with a busy job, it was so nice to concentrate on making something. The time flew by and we both agreed how much we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Sarah for a lovely morning (enamelling next I think!)

   For the last two weeks, I have had the delight of testing Sarah Greening Glass’ latest product line – a stylish hair clip decorated with her signature bubbled glass. I have used this hair clip regularly and have been pleasantly surprised at how well it’s stayed in place. With most hair accessories, I usually have to readjust at least once during the day, but not this clip. It stayed in place all day long, whatever the weather. In addition to this, I have worn it whilst, unfortunately, suffering from a nasty cough, and it didn’t move at all during any of my coughing fits! I’ve also worn it after washing my hair, when accessories tend to slide more often for me, and it’s happily stayed put. I think this ability to stay put is partly due to the curved shape of the clip. Most are straight and the curve means it sits better on your head. Not only are Sarah’s hair clips stylish, but they are small enough to wear under a hat or cycle helmet, which is a bonus in my book as a lot of my favourite clips I have to carry to work in my handbag and put in when I get there. These clips look great as part of an outfit to wear in the office, but would also be ideal for special occasions, such as weddings or a prom dance. In addition to this, they are just as fabulous to wear as part of your everyday ensemble, so you can feel special every day! The clips retail at £14 each, which makes them perfect as a gift for a friend, relative or loved one or even just as a treat for yourself. The other benefit of these hair accessories is that they perfectly match other pieces in Sarah’s collection, so you can create a complete look with necklace, earrings and hair clips. Sarah is also happy to do requests for other colours within her range, so you can request one to match your existing jewellery or even your favourite outfit! I am certainly looking forward to getting some matching studs and adding to my hair accessory collection. This clip is fast becoming my favourite piece to wear as it is so versatile and I love the feeling of wearing jewels in my hair!
