   Really pleased with my visit to Worcester H.Samuel today. Mandy helped me select a ring and also gave me great advice about ring sizing etc. I also had a replacement watch strap fitted. ( I bought the Rotary watch here a few years ago ). I've bought quite a lot from this store in the past and staff here are always patient, friendly and helpful.

   Popped in this afternoon 10 minutes before closing time to enquire about having my wedding rings cut off. A lovely lady named Caroline looked after us and said she could cut them off there and then which was amazing as my hands have swollen due to pregnancy. Really chatty, helpful and professional. Thank you so much for the absolutely fantastic customer service :)

   Do NOT recommend at all. *NOW UPDATED - SEE BELOW If you are thinking of buying your partner an engagement ring or any ring from here, please think carefully before doing so. I would have rated less than 1 star if I could. My partner bought me an engagement ring from H Samuel Worcester about 3 months ago and the ring has completely broken - the diamond cluster fell off completely and the white gold has warped to the point it is unusable and certainly not fit for purpose. When taking into store the broken engagement ring I thought H Samuel would apologise after selling my partner a faulty engagement ring. I was washing my hands in cold water during a UK heat wave when the ring became damaged so did not expect to be told the damage was my fault. Especially after the ring had become warped on my finger and nearly didn't come off. A 9 karat white gold engagement ring should not deform the way it did after wearing in non-strenuous day to day activities and certainly not after washing my hands. H Samuel is supposedly a reputable jeweler but I will certainly not be shopping here again after my experience. I have been advised by several other jewelers the way my engagement ring has damaged is very unusual and there is likely an issue with the ring if there was no impact when this happened. H Samuel told me there must have been impact and I assured them there had not been. They have since come back with lots of different excuses to why this is not their fault which I can see is common from the reviews below. H Samuel advised they would have to assess the ring for damage and this would take 3 to 4 weeks at least but failed to advise what they would exactly do to assess the ring and work out which party is supposedly at fault ie. Heat to check for further warping, testing components of ring etc. I even spoke to citizens advice and explained the situation and they advised me I was entitled to a repair or replacement under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 free of charge as this incident occurred within 6 months of purchasing the ring and so it is deemed the ring was faulty when purchased. However H Samuel will not do this and so I will be taking my complaint further. I have now made an official complaint and sent to H Samuel customer services and they have made no effort to hide the fact it has all been written by chat GPT. I am absolutely appalled at the level of customer service nowadays and will be strongly recommending to anyone I know not to buy from H Samuel in future. **UPDATE The ring has now been examined by a technician and after being advised it would be tested and there would be a 3 to 4 week wait, when asking what tests had been completed I was advised only a visual inspection was completed - which was already done at the shop so a complete waste of time. "Surprisingly" the visual inspection concluded this was still considered my fault and therefore H Samuel wont refund or repair my ring. In addition the Premier Care sold to my partner as "unlimited amount of claims" is only able to be claimed once and after that a new insurance policy needs to be paid for. This is incredibly misleading and I will be reporting this. If you're buying a ring you're much better going to the jewellery quarter in birmingham as the service is so much better. Also make sure to insure the ring separately from where you buy it eg. Through house insurance or seperate jewellery insurance. Lesson learned - dont make the same mistakes we did!

   I am not very good with technology and could not set my lovely Citizen radio controlled eco watch. So dropped into H. Samuel in Worcester today. The manager Richard was incredibly helpful and set my watch for me. It is a lovely store with very friendly staff and a fine selection of watches. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend them. Thank you.

   Bought my wife a lovely ring. When it came to pay, the ticket price was substantially lower than the actual price. The assistant checked with the manager and without hesitation we were told " no problem" and were charged the ticket price. Charming sales advisor and lovely shop.

   My partner went here to buy my engagement and wedding bundle as a surprise for me. He was served my Amanda. Fantastic member of staff and a real credit to the store and team. She knew everything about the stock to Sizing and went above and beyond with her service. Even when I went back to have to ring resized she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you so much for making our experience a memorable one.
