   Would have given them 0 stars but apparently you can’t do that. When it comes to family law, butcher and Barlow are second to none!! If your lying to gain a malicious and vindictive advantage then these are the solicitors for you. They will help put your lies forward in family court and no matter how many times you want to change your allegations, butcher and Barlow will help you to achieve that too!! However, if your a male victim, then this is not the solicitor for you, they will look through your evidence, then turn you down? Male victims are not supported here, but if your female! Come along and we’ll be more than happy to stop your ex from seeing his children, and make you shine in family court!! Bear in mind that any harm comes to my children, I will make sure that all your statements and allegations (including the ones that have been changed over 5 times now) are all put on public display……….

   We experienced a really great service from the Runcorn office whilst purchasing our first house in a pandemic. Our Solicitor kept us fully updated as to the current position and was always willing to have a phone or email conversation to explain something to us. If she said she would do something on a certain day, it was done. Gave a quote for our fees at the very start and there were absolutely no surprises in our completion statement, which was also cheaper than other local quotes received. Absolute pleasure to deal with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

   After an accident in work I contacted Butcher & Barlow for advice. An appointment was arranged to speak to Andy  Mackenzie one of their solicitors. Andy explained the procedure which made me feel comfortable & confident he would do his very best to get me the best outcome. My case lasted 4 years. During this period Andy & his team kept me well informed. Always available & offering me the best advice during this time building the case against the defendant. I was sent to all the relevant specialist & represented by a top barrister in court. I won my case. I feel this was due to all the hard work Andy had put into my case.  I wouldn't hesitate  to recommend Butcher & Barlow as they provided an excellent service. In the future if I needed any legal advice. The only solicitors I would use would be Butcher & Barlow
