Amazing classes especially Michelle’s body jam!! Reception Staff will always find a solution to any problem. First time in the gym. Kelvin was really sweet and encouraging. Really glad that there’s a few female only Sauna and steam sessions
On Lane Swimming, life guards need to be stricture, as it seems to be a free for all. To many ladies and the odd gents ,group in the slow lane ,chatting and walking in water. These folk need to be spoken to ,it’s for swimming nothing else. It causing slow swimmers to be in the middle lane, then they report u for swimming past them, because their to slow. Please sort this issue as it’s getting past a joke
When I first joined this gym back in February, I was genuinely happy with the place. Unfortunately, over the past couple of months, the hygiene standards have really gone downhill. The bathrooms and changing rooms have become dirty, smelly, and often full of hair. None of the soap dispensers seem to work, and a section of the gym has been taped off with a sign saying they don’t know when the floor will be fixed. It’s disappointing to see how quickly the quality has dropped. I’ve since cancelled my membership and joined another gym - similar price, but much cleaner and better maintained.
I have been a member of this fitness gym for more than a year now, and I have always been deeply disappointed by the quality of cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms but also in the changing rooms. People never clean up after themselves — on the contrary, I even get the feeling that some make a mess on purpose. The toilets are a -1/10, the sinks a 1/10, and the floors just the same. People shave and leave hair all over, they blow their noses in the sinks and leave everything untouched. They clearly do not care about cleanliness, and the staff do nothing to address it. At the very least, the gym could put up some signs, such as: • Please keep the bathrooms clean, other people will use them after you. Show respect for others. Or stricter ones: • Keep the facilities clean. Ignoring this may result in losing your membership. I have never seen any such signs here, and lately I have started to feel very uncomfortable in this place. Because of that, I have decided to cancel my membership.
Although it has nice and clean facilities the management is very bad at customer relations. Doesn’t care what you think or feel and brave enough to say that.
Absolute rubbish. The temperature of the water cold. Dirty changing rooms. Stinking shower areas. When trying to cancel the membership, they will make excuse and try to prolong as much as they can. Common reasons include we do not handle the membership here, we do not manage direct debit here, please call the number (which no one picks up) send an email (which bounces back and no one responds) when put a complaint, the person says, I understand what you mean so sorry about this and the usual corporate rubbish from the script they ve been given. This centre is a plague and needs their funding withdrawn. A black mark on West Brom.
Only go to use the pool. Book in advance and you're all good. With a toddler though I recommend booking for the family pool...main pool is too cold when they're not very active.
Great community hub that has a gym & swimming pool, sauna too. They had a coffee shop but now they sell it behind the counter at the front desk. Prices are good too. Something for everyone & you can get a guides tour before you join.
