After blowing forty three at the police station, I was arrested for drunk driving. I assumed I would lose my license because I felt I had gone too far, but M.A.J Law asked all the right questions and discovered that the officer had not adequately explained the process. To make matters worse, the breathalyzer had not been calibrated in a timely manner. The CPS collapsed as they contested the results' admissibility. I didn't even have to testify before the case was dismissed. I have nothing but praise for this company. I will always remember the second chance they gave me.

M.A.J Law genuinely saved me. I was accused of driving under the influence of cocaine, but they proved with expert evidence that the level in my blood didn’t mean I was impaired. They knew exactly what to look for. The police thought it was an easy win, but M.A.J showed otherwise. The case didn’t even reach trial. It was withdrawn the week before. If you’ve been charged with drug driving, don’t face it alone. This firm knows exactly how to help. Five stars.

I was charged with drug driving after testing positive for cocaine. I had taken it two nights before (nowhere near the time I drove) but the police still charged me. I contacted M.A.J Law and they were amazing from day one. They took apart the prosecution case, found errors in the way the blood sample was taken, and got expert support to challenge the results. On the day of trial, CPS dropped the case entirely. No points, no fine, no conviction. Can’t recommend them enough. Proper firm who know how to fight for you.

To avoid repetition, also read Ken Menzies and Josie Appleby's reviews as they pretty much reflect my experience, detailed below. I instructed MAJ when their reviews much better, but recently it seems they've dropped the ball Having engaged MAJ Law for a mobile phone offence, based on my experience I'd suggest you'll do just as well, if not better, doing it yourself with your own research. It cost approx. £2.4k (fixed fee) to instruct. They completed the SJP form, obtained and reviewed the evidence bundle from the CPS and passed it to me with their opinions (all of this could have been done by me). Also they explained the court process, and plea options. No effort was made to settle or negotiate with the CPS before court day, as they claim to do. At court, they said a barrister was needed (additional £1.8k). A third-party barrister arrived 15min before the hearing. Despite me explaining my defense and documentation (in the brief time I had), barrister suggested I plead guilty as his view was that as I'd said "I was holding" my phone only once during a 30min bodycam video, it would be difficult to defend and I'd lose the credit for pleading guilty early. On the day, police witness didn't arrive, so CPS applied for an adjournment. Barrister made a brief, (in my view half hearted - definitely not what I'd expect after paying £1800!) opposition to the adjournment - wasn't surprised that case was adjourned to another date, instead of being dismissed. Second hearing I was also offered a barrister by MAJ Law, but having spent £4k already, and knowing he'd probably just ask me to plead guilty, I went unrepresented. At court, I went alone. I maintained my not guilty plea. I'd read that the court often believes the CPS and police with their eyes closed, but this definitely wasn't my experience. I explained all my defense, mitigations, circumstances in detail (with supporting documentation I had available - which had also been sent to MAJ Law, but not forwarded by them to the CPS or court so almost became inadmissible!), and cross-examined the police officer to the best of my ability. The magistrates and court staff to their credit were extremely patient (it took 2 hrs from my entering to the leaving the court room), understanding, helpful and independently considered and listened to both sides very carefully. It made me proud of the justice system we have in the UK. Although my outcome was guilty, I was given a conditional discharge, didn't receive any points, but had to pay CPS costs. A barrister who arrives 15min before the hearing, having briefly reviewed the file, with his mind already made up can never represent you better than you can represent yourself with some preparation. ref 110675

Shame there isn’t a zero star button. ANYONE reading this, please just don’t bother using MAJ Law. These guys are total scammers. If you sift through all the fake reviews you will find enough with similar horror stories of using this joke excuse of a solicitor firm. They completely mislead me from the start, sold me a fake story about all the work they will do on my behalf. AFTER 8 MONTHS, they didn’t do a single thing for me a building a defence for my case. Countless times they ignored my request for a call. I tried many times over months to even speak to someone and I kept being told they would call me back. Could NEVER answer when I asked what work they have done. These guys are scammers and I have loads of screenshots of emails and call recordings to prove this. If I can stop even one single person from using this cowboy firm then I’ll be happier, Ask at your local citizens advice for a trusted local solicitor firm. I was lucky enough to have a good solicitor who took my case TWO WEEKS before my court date. MAJ law nearly cost me my whole my license and worse. I found a much better solicitor for a fraction of the price. I advise everyone else to do the same!!! Feel free to message me if you would like to see the proof I have collected about this joke of a company

As a quite private person I wouldn’t normally feel comfortable going public with this review but felt impelled to do so because of the exceptional service provided by Connor and the team at MAJ Law, all of whom exude friendly intelligent & refreshing professionalism. On the day my barrister Jack Cooper nailed it! In my opinion largely because of his ability to communicate and articulate succinctly with the magistrates bench in a down to earth clear manner. I cannot thank Jack enough! I would also like to pay particular thanks to Olivia in the office who was super. To conclude…..MAJ Law are the complete package and the real deal….if you need help ‘call them!’

I contacted MAJ Law on very short notice regarding a speeding ticket and spoke to Thomas Wilson, who was both very kind and very helpful in listening to my situation and offering actual actionable advice on what to do and the likely outcomes. I contacted two solicitors previously who simply spent a few moments listening to my situation but would not offer any advice, even just to explain likely outcomes or what they could do, without a "consultation" high fee, so would highly recommend contacting MAJ law without hesitation. I think you can tell a lot about the character of a person or firm just from your initial interaction, and was very happy to get honest straight forward initial advice from someone who actually cared! I would happily recommend MAJ Law to anyone based off my initial interaction.

I had an efficient and exquisite experience with MAJ Law Ltd. This was the initial consultation and advice from Conor. He proved his skills and experience through a very detailed action plan breaking down all the avenues to challenge the prosecution as ‘ not guilty plea’. His professionalism was very predominant throughout his prompt support even if he was busy with other clients. Conor is very realistic in terms of the options without promising an unachievable outcome in Court. He provided clearly all the fixed fees with no hidden and unexpected charges. I strongly recommend MAJ Law Ltd. especially Conor.

MAJ law really have been outstanding. I have never needed a solicitor before so I didn’t know what to expect, but they were consistently reassuring and honest throughout the entire process. Along with being extremely professional. I was being charged with a serious charge, and was in contact with Harry Bellis (head of legal) the entire time and he was great. Answered all my questions and gave me great preparation. My barrister for my final sentencing was Monica Stevenson, also fantastic. Incredibly professional and represented me so so well. I genuinely can’t thank them both enough for the work and resources they offered me. They advised me not to go to trial (I was unsure what to do) and their advice actually got me a great result. My life would be very different now if it wasn’t for their help. I was almost a little sad that I will no longer be working with them as they have been on the whole journey with me. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you both for everything.

I’d like to pass on my personal thanks to the team at MAJ. My son was stopped by the police for a DUI incident and was looking at a potential ban for 36-52 months – which would have been life changing! We contacted MAJ, who have been very helpful and professional throughout. They explained, on what grounds we could potentially challenge and all the relevant costs (which were in-line with other options we looked at). Obviously appointing a solicitor isn’t a ‘miracle cure’, you ‘pay-your-money-and-take-your-chances’, trying to defend your case. With the help of MAJ our case was dismissed, and we were awarded costs, due to the Police Officer not showing up in court and CPS not having any further evidence they could give. My heart-felt thanks goes out to the team at MAJ.
