No star review. Bad solicitors company. Be careful they ask you to sign a contract as soon as you enter from the door that if they don't do the work you have to pay them £230/hour, also for their calls and letters plus VAT. Absolute joke - who pays for nothing done. Avoid at any cost, they are a lot more solicitors you can go to. Dont waste your money and time with these! And be careful, read everything they give you!

Was not a great experience, shared private and confidential emails that we told not to share.cant be bothered but pretty sure this is in breach of rules and could have gone to law society about this. Secretary on reception was quite rude. Sian and her assistant Dawn were nice enough though.
Highly suggested that you do not use this solicitor, they do not respond to telephone calls, e-mails from Agents and buyers Solicitors. They admit they do not have the staff to cope with current workload but this is no excuse for inefficiency and unprofessionalism.
Appalling service! God help you if you need a solicitor urgently. I called up over the space of 24 hours explaining my case was urgent involving a an 88 year old woman, making 5 phone calls and having 2 of them answered. Promised a call back, never received. Finally got a call back from a very snotty woman with a very unfriendly tone ‘Can I help you?!’ No apologies for not calling back when promised. Then made the excuse that they hadn’t called back because they’re dealing with other cases. Fair enough - I’ll take that. But not picking up the phone to just explain that to someone is just rude in my opinion. To be honest if I treated my new potential clients this way I’m sure I’d soon be out of business. When I informed her that their customer care was lacking she just laughed and said ‘so I’ll remove you off the call back list then?’ Honestly disgusting service, bad attitude. Avoid if you actually want solicitors that care about people and not just how much money they can make.
Want to say a massive thanks to Edward Hughes solicitors in particular Sian Hughes and her assistant Dawn. Dawn was really brilliant and could not do enough for us, when it looked like our house sale is going to fall through due to one of the members of the chains mortgage offer expiring, she spent hours liaising with the rest of the chains solicitors and was able to find a workaround preventing the whole chain from collapsing, she was really really brilliant.
