   I was referred to Akorn by a family member for my first mortgage application. I have slightly complicated circumstances and something of a questionable financial history so I didn't really expect to get anywhere any time soon. Jessica was tasked with looking after my application, and throughout she has been absolutely brilliant. She has been extremely knowledgeable, shown the patience of a saint and never gave the impression that anything was too much to ask. She has always been on hand to contact whenever I've had questions, doubts, or even just in a blind panic with a calm and collected attitude, beyond expectation even to the extent of intervening with the solicitor when it seemed they were causing problems. I can only describe she waved a magic wand over anything that seemed a disaster and made everything organised, fluid and just easy. Essentially I think I would have given up on my goal of home ownership without Jessica's help and determination, so I'd like to offer my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Jessica and Akorn, and give my full recommendation to anyone who is dubious over starting the process. If there's a way, I have no doubt Jessica will find it and even make it seem a simple and obvious choice.
