   Appalling. They took on a case that was three months from the limitation period and then after messing me around for the last six months sent me an email stating that they are not carrying on with the case. The case is a data protection breach application. The South Wales Police lost the CCTV of me being spiked with GHB that has caused me to have Multiple Sclerosis. The neurologist has agreed that being spiked with GHB triggered me to have multiple sclerosis, a long term serious health condition. Ella Matthews who is not even legally trained is allegedly a trainee solicitor on their website and her LinkedIn profile and she told me she is a solicitor. Christopher Lackner is the solicitor she is working for, he alleges they have done nothing wrong. I now have to make a late application myself as they have wasted 6 months of my time and make a complaint to the SRA. Do not instruct this company. SEE AMGF REVIEW BELOW.

   Excellent Service – Highly Recommend for Housing Disrepair Claims I can’t speak highly enough of SBW Law and the way they handled my housing disrepair claim. From the very first conversation, they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me resolve the issues I was facing. They explained the process clearly, kept me updated every step of the way, and were always quick to respond to any questions I had. What really stood out was how thorough they were in gathering evidence and really advocating for me. The really absorbed all the stress out of the process. My landlord finally took the necessary action, and I received a compensation package I was very happy with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SBW Law to anyone facing housing problems – they were absolutely exemplary from start to finish.

   Had a data breach which resulted in harm. I used SBW after a quick Google search. Although technically a win, it was significantly lower than expecting especially when looking at precedent cases. Despite medical evidence being available, they were reluctant to go down the route. Basically I didn't feel like they had my back. The offer was inclusive of fees, and they took this as well as their "up to 25%", for very little work (no medical information requested or to go through etc). I received about 40% of the total claim. Be careful about this wording as it made the whole thing just not worth it. Case was also handled by 2 x trainee solicitors which I wasn't advised on when starting. Follow-up to SBW response. I'm massively confused as to how you are stating that I received 100% of the claim. The total claim was 'X' (their offer was compensation inclusive of fees). SBW deducted your fees from 'X', as well as an additional 25%, which left me circa 40% of the total claim. I'm happy to post a screenshot of the email??? I'm further confused as to how you feel that this is a surprise to you. We've had phone calls and exchanged emails re my unhappiness and you gave me a token amount back (this still left with me just over 40%). You did so after a formal complaint was made. I wasn't going to mention that but you've made factually incorrect claims and left me no choice. You've referenced giving me some money back, and so how is it you feel that we've not discussed this? Do you normally give additional money to people who don't contact you with a complaint? The offer was also accepted on your recommendation and reluctance to go for medical information available. As I said, I felt I had no tangible avenues left. I'm glad that others had a positive experience but this is an honest review on the back of my experience with SBW. I also felt the need go address the points in your reply. I would happily speak to you about this but no name was left. You also have my contact details.

Chris for SBW took the time to listen to my case; asking open questions to understand the finer detail and then recapping our conversation to ensure he had all the facts.
