   Not a successful experience at all. Have asked to close matter. Met in Dec'24 regarding two Wills and POA, provided templated information in same month. Since then and following two attempts to reset and restart the matter we have made literally no progress. Any phone, email or text comms has been received only following our own chasing. Very disappointed in what should be a Professional firm and trust this is about bandwidth or organization rather than poor practice or otherwise.

   Took Napthens Southport 7 months to complete the purchase of our house. Initially months passed by without any progress, despite my chasing. Claims they had been emailing and phoning the sellers solicitors everyday to no avail. I figured I'd call the sellers solicitor myself, it took one phone call from me to realise they had closed down. This meant we missed our first completion deadline. Got a 2 month extension from the lender, only to miss this one also. Napthens informed us everything was ready to complete. Except, one day before completion it turns out the ID on vendors side hadn't been completed. Granted this wasn't down to Napthens to sort, but we clearly weren't ready to complete. Fortunately though, another extension had already been arranged - prior to me receiving the news about the ID ??? No urgency, No accountability, No apology. Just excuses trying to diminish their responsibility. I genuinely feel I've spent £000's for paper gathering admin work, instead of a proactive solicitor working with my best interests at heart.. Go with a smaller independent solicitor, I'm sure you'll get a more personal experience who listen and more importantly act.

   I contacted Napthens after being very disillusioned with another Solicitor who had been handling my Divorce proceedings. First point of contact was from the receptionist who was polite and courteous. I spoke to Sally Abrams. Her professionalism was evident from initial contact and continued throughout my dealings with her. Initially, I was on a very short deadline for Court Proceedings. However, Sally promptly and efficiently ensured deadlines were met and has continued to do so. She has kept me informed throughout what has proved to be a complicated Divorce. Information provided has been clear and concise and Sally has always managed my expectations. I feel she has taken time to understand the dynamics of my marriage and been balanced when giving advice of the options available to me. This has enabled me to give her appropriate Instructions which she has followed when dealing with 3rd Parties on my behalf. Consequently, I have felt very confident in taking guidance from Sally when she presented my case at court. I have felt supported throughout the process. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sally or napthens solicitors to anyone. My overall experience has been a stress free first class service.

   I have engaged Napthens, Southport, for a number of both personal, family and business issues over the last three years. I have found them to be helpful, thorough and very accommodating. I have dealt predominantly with Tony, who always answers my emails promptly and is always happy to chat through any legal questions I have on the phone, even after the normal 5:30pm cut off, when you usually can’t get hold of a solicitor. I’ve found him to be very knowledgeable and he always explains options thoroughly and has never rushed me when i’ve needed assistance.
