They were amazing in helping me as a first time buyer in finding a mortgage and insurance for me. They went above and beyond in finding a mortgage when I didn't think it would be possible. They were both very approachable and easy to contact, always replying to my emails as soon as they could. They have definitely made the process of buying my first home a lot less stressful than what I thought it was going to be. Paul Wilson at Haighwood Financial Services helped me with my first mortgage and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He provided clear advice and was patient with my questions as a first time buyer, and made the experience much easier than it otherwise would have been. His service was especially appreciated when the application needed restructuring with a quick turnaround, Paul laid out all my options and did not pressure me to make any specific conclusion, but gave me the information I needed to make my decision. Aside from my mortgage Paul also organised my buildings/contents insurance and was attentive in the build up to completion to ensure everything began at the right time. Paul also offers advice on pensions and life assurance and I will certainly be using him again in the future for those services, as well as for future re-mortgaging or buying/selling property.
