Don't get sucked into their multitude of 5 star reviews, if you actually read them they have no substance - they discuss how the 'conversation made them feel at ease' or 'how their options were explained to them' That's because before any work has been done, they ask you to review them based upon the consultation conversation, which makes absolutely no sense (& you'll see a few other posters say) I lost my case for a substantial amount of money, which is ultimately my fault for falling victim to a scam and I don't expect anyone to wave a magic wand and fix that, but the reasons CEL are getting a 1-star review are: 1. I communicated with them I'd be out of the country and if they could alert the Ombudsman of this fact to make sure we reach the deadline for giving them the information they need - CEL did not do that, resulting in my case getting closed and me having to reopen it. 2. They can take weeks to respond to an email, if at all. I'd ring and the people I needed to speak to were always on 'lunch' 3. Outside of a generic email, I was never followed up with or contacted by my claims handler They just throw a lot of legal jargon around but provide no results, very disappointed by the whole process and assume that this is just the case with no-win/no-fee

I cant recommend CEL solicitors enough. Very transparent, informative and understanding throughout the process for recovering money I lost due to fraud. Kira especially, was brilliant. She always went out of her way to insure I was in the loop about ongoing parts of the case and responded very quickly if I had any queries.
