Leigh is super experienced and great at what he does. He is really knowledgeable and gave me lots of helpful advice about my dog’s behaviour and care. You can tell he really understands dogs and loves what he does. My dog came out looking great and I learned so much — highly recommend!
I took my dog for his first groom this morning. Leigh put both me and my dog totally at ease. He's kind, patient and professional, taking time to get an overall picture of my dog. I would highly recommend Leigh. When I picked Bradley up he was playing ball and very happy. Great advice about bad hoover behaviour too. I have already booked his next appointment.
We have been taking our dog Toby to Leigh for many years. Not only is Leigh a very professional dog groomer, he is also very knowledgeable about dogs. Toby, like many dogs, can be a little nervous going to the groomers, but Leigh soon settles him with his gentle calming manner.I can personally vouch for the kindness Leigh shows to the dogs in his care, as, unbeknown to Leigh I overheard him talking to a dog he was grooming. He spoke so gently and kindly to it, we knew then, that despite moving from the area we will continue to take Toby to Leigh and not go anywhere else.
Took our puppy bear for his first grooming session. Leigh was very polite and professional, the advice given about taking care off bears coat was much appreciated. Bear first cut was excellent, We have booked our next appointment, and would highly recommend leigh. Thanks leigh .
This man is a bully to dogs! Steer clear! Several people have spoken to me in the past month about how their animal had been traumatised by this man! He sliced my dogs underarm open, when I picked her up she clung to me abnormally and was petrified! I ended up going in and getting her early because I was watching him through the window and he was hurting my bambino! I have reported this! THIS MAN SHOULD NEVER WORK WITH ANIMALS!
After our puppy had a bad experience at another groomers we were recommended Scruffs to Crufts. We found Leigh fantastic with her and his holistic approach has ensured that she is both well groomed and happy. Although my dog looked lovely when I picked him up , excellent grooming but unfortunately she couldn’t handle my spaniel which is a shame because she really is a great groomer. So my search goes on to find one that can handle a nervous dog that does not like to be groomed
Absolutely fantastic service, Leigh is very knowledgeable and worked wonders with my dog, Frank. Seriously great guy, looks at the whole picture and will offer advise for not only grooming, but behaviour too. Can't recommend enough. If there was 6 stars, I'd go with that.
Bear has been coming here to Leigh since March this year and he is very relaxed and lets Leigh just get on with it, I tried a few groomers before and i have settled with Skruffs as in my opinion it is the best grooming parlour in town,thanks Leigh x
