   Recently took our border terrier Bo to Hardwick Hounds for a hand strip. They managed to get us in very quickly as everywhere else we tried were fully booked! I'll definitely only be using Hardwick Hounds from now on!! The lady who worked on Bo (apologies my husband didn't get your name) was lovely and did a great job on him. He looks great and he smelled fantastic when he came home!!! Also, was charged about half as much as have paid previously for a strip and she worked really quickly. Thank you Hardwick Hounds. Would heartily recommend.

   Absolutely lovely people. Looked after my pooch and she looked absolutely amazing. You can tell how much they care for your pooch and listened to everything I had to tell them regarding her problem areas. Very good value for money. Will absolutely be booking back in. Had absolutely no concerns leaving my dog with them, could tell from the off that she was in good hands.

   I completed my level 3 dog grooming qualification here without having any previous experience of grooming. Terri was the best instructor I could’ve asked for, always able to help when I struggled with certain parts of a groom. The whole team at Hardwick Hounds are so friendly and lovely, I am sad to leave! If anyone is thinking about completing a grooming qualification, Terri is the best teacher you could ask for, and the course provides you with all the training and knowledge you could need to kickstart a grooming career.    Hardwick Hounds are extremely caring and offer a very friendly and professional service. We always take our Border Terrier here to be stripped as do my mum and dad with theirs. The trainee groomers do an excellent job and it is well worth the money and we don't mind supplying our dogs for them to practice on. I would recommend HH to anybody.

   Just got our Westie back after a long overdue good wash and a cut. He looks great and behaved himself while there too.....He's known as a wriggler but seems like he likes coming after his 1st visit. very happy with the cut and how he looks now.

   I did my first ever dog grooming qualification with Terri at Hardwick hounds and I can’t recommend this place enough! I was a little weary having never heard of the ipet network qualification but after a quick call with Terri and some information sending over for me to read through I knew this was the course for me and I 100% made the right decision. Terri is a very knowledgeable and experienced groomer and tutor and I will definitely be back to further my knowledge and qualifications with you in the near future.

   I have just completed my OCN level 3 Dog Grooming diploma at Hardwick Hounds, and I absolutely loved the training and I recommend it very highly! Terri is a fantastic teacher, she has such a caring nature and her knowledge and experience as a dog groomer and business owner have been invaluable. I have recently worked with other animals (animal assisted therapies) and groomed my own dog but apart from that I started the course with no professional dog grooming experience at all. So having a career change and starting something new was a little daunting to say the least. From day one Terri provided the reassurance and encouragement that this was fine and that the training would be paced and tailored to me while covering all the iPet theory too. My training was two days a week over four months. Alongside hands on dog grooming (50+ grooms, 20+ breeds) we did some classroom based theory exercises and outdoor activities with Terri’s own dogs, including clicker training and agility which was great fun but also really helpful in seeing how different dogs react differently to commands, and how this transfers to the grooming environment. Being based at the garden centre was brilliant as there was outdoor space to take the dogs for a break and fields where we could do training exercises with Terri’s dogs. Terri and her staff have built up great relationships and trust with their customers which is demonstrated in the salon daily. Many of the dogs I groomed during my training were regular customers at Hardwick Hounds, who under Terri’s supervision, completely trusted us with their grooms and this enabled us to practice on a wide range of breeds and styles. I intend to set up my own dog grooming business and the training has completely equipped me to take on the challenge :) Thank you so much Terri, Nick and Lucy... and of course the Hardwick Hounds Alice, Duke and Chichi x
