Very poor, taxi booked and confirmed for 5.30. but then driver calls at 5.45 half hour later to say he has only just received the job and will be another 25 minutes getting to me. Driver and his communication were the best they could be but the system/app and set up is next to useless.
Can’t fault the driver, though communication with your communication (haha!!!) system is beyond frustrating. Exasperatingly bad experience and not for the first time. Drivers are excellent but badly letdown by a robotic, inept and indifferent communication system.. bring back the human beings, otherwise you will have no business left before you know it.
Fantastic service from the booking, to the picking up, to the dropping of. All on time, very kind and helpful receptionist and drivers. Thanks so much for making every step easy, which isn't always easy with airport rides
If I could give 0 I would, car did not turn up despite being booked 6 days in advance and paid for!!!!. Called repeatedly for update to be told driver was 10 minutes away but no exact location disclosed. After numerous phone calls and being hung up on three times being told I was drunk (I was not, no curse words were used either!) Car eventually turned up 50 minutes last and for 5 people not the 8 people originally booked! Do not use, never prepay and avoid at all costs!! I will be getting my money back!!
Despite booking in the afternoon for around a midnight pickup, the car was circa half an hour late. In my booking I had asked for an enroute drop-off and was given a price. An extra fee was later added to the cost for this. Positives: The driver was pleasant and the car was very clean.
Used Crown Cars last night to get home from Llangollen after phoning about 6 other cab companies in Wrexham who wouldn't come out. We had a text to confirm our booking, a text when the driver was on his way with his reg no to look out for and a text to say he'd arrived. Lovely driver, local resident to our destination which was fab, would definitely recommend and definitely use again, thank you for coming to get us! :)
UPDATE. OK so here I am leaving another 1* review if I could, seem to have been stopped from? (And as we said we would, not sure why that should result in us being called aggressive?) Lets clarify a few points, after booking the taxi in person 3 days before needed, I rang when it had not arrived 15 mins late and was told I had no booking, was not happy as I 100% had, told I'd have to wait 1 hour to which I agreed as felt had no choice, to then immediately get a text to say taxi was on way the way (Simon) yey all fine, to then get a text 10 min later to say I'd cancelled said taxi, so rang to see what this was about, to be told I had cancelled it in the app, let's get one thing straight, I do not have your app (now never will have) had no WiFi, booked in person (hubby says support local businesses, even tho you'd let us down a year before, and I lost my precious earring on way home and came in x2 to ask if it were found, no one gave a ****) I was very upset as had promised to pick up puppy with 84 year old father (again hence checking puppy was OK in taxi on booking) my husband rang to support me and you constantly put down the phone (no wonder we were getting wound up!) And it was me who told you eventually where to stick your taxi and not you who cancelled the last time.... but as you record the calls (to which I said I was pleased about) you will know this. I really do hope you sort out the issues with your booking system and app just so no one else has to have the same issues as we did. And please try not to make slurs against the customers reviews, not good business sense! An apology would have done. Here's the 1st 1* review below. Absolutely disgraceful service, booked taxi in person as live local and it did not turn, when rang back after 2 no shows! got told i had cancelled on app, I do not have their app!! Got accused of being aggressive, we were very upset as had to pick our puppy up fromm 84 year old father and had purposely organised this taxi to be totally let down by this rubbish firm! DO NOT USE! They lie and blame others.
Absolutely fantastic service all round from reception staff to the drivers you couldn’t ask for a better company to accompany your journeys here there and everywhere, fast and reliable
Just had a taxi with you guys and had a great experience from start to finish. The lady on the phone was pleasant and helpful and the taxi turned up on time and the driver was lovely. Very reasonable prices too. Highly recommend 5*
AVOID this taxi company at all costs!!!! They didn’t even turn up.. numerous phone calls and messages later still no answer to explain themselves even though my messages have been read. No taxi turning up meant we missed our flight to go on holiday and I was so upset as you can imagine. The very least we would of expected was an apology. Definitely do not recommend. Save your time and money and go elsewhere to a reliable taxi service.
