   We travelled from Leeds to attend a Comic Con and stayed at the Holiday Inn on the A55. On the morning of the event, we were shocked to learn from the hotel receptionist that Uber drivers do not operate in this area. With the venue 16 miles away and no local taxi firms able to assist, we found ourselves in a real panic. At the very last minute, we came across Formula Elite Travel — and they absolutely saved the day. From the very first call, communication was clear and straightforward, which immediately reassured us. Despite the fact that our request was completely last-minute, they managed to accommodate us without hesitation. Our driver arrived promptly and with a calm, professional manner that instantly put us at ease. The vehicle itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which made the long journey to the venue smooth and stress-free. As a wheelchair user, I was particularly impressed by the driver’s attentiveness and support. He made sure my needs were fully met with patience and understanding — nothing was ever too much trouble. On the return journey, when the boot unexpectedly wouldn’t open, leaving no space for the wheelchair, he didn’t abandon us or make excuses. Instead, he immediately problem-solved and kindly offered the front seat so the wheelchair could be safely accommodated. That quick thinking and genuine care went far beyond what most drivers would do. His professionalism shone through in every aspect of the service. He didn’t just drop us off and leave — he waited while we enjoyed Comic Con and was ready to collect us the moment we finished. That level of reliability gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy the event without the stress of wondering how we would get back. His knowledge of the local area was also evident, as he took a scenic and efficient route, which made the drive not only comfortable but also surprisingly enjoyable. Yes, the fare was more expensive than a standard Uber, but it was worth every single penny for the safety, comfort, and exceptional customer care we received. We even shared some biscuits with him as a small thank-you, which he accepted warmly. Both me and my mum felt completely safe and well looked after throughout the entire experience, which is priceless. I unfortunately forgot his name, but please do pass on our sincere thanks from both of us. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication left a lasting impression. We look forward to travelling with Formula Elite Travel again for many more Comic Cons and future journeys whenever we return to the area.

   I've used Five Star a few times now and I'm really impressed with their service. Booking with them is really easy, whether you do it through their app, or over the phone. And once your booking is confirmed, you can rest assured that your ride will arrive on time – every one of my taxis has arrived on time. The drivers are very friendly and chatty, which always makes for a more pleasant journey. Five Star Cars are a great option if you need reliable taxis in Mold. I've used Cresta for years but now I won't use anyone else but Five Star.
