Don’t even approach this company nine months we have been waiting to complete a house sale. They have had three different solicitors on the same case and still not completed. Passed from pillow to post documents getting lost. Worse company we have delta with!!!!! Avoid

I would not recommend this firm based on my experience dealing with a probate matter. The process took far longer than expected, communication was inconsistent, and I found it extremely difficult to get updates or clear information throughout. Most upsettingly, during this time two close family members passed away, including a successor to the estate, and there was no acknowledgement or expression of condolences from the firm. I found this deeply unprofessional and insensitive during a very difficult time. I have raised my concerns formally with the firm and have also referred the matter to the Solicitors Regulation Authority for review. This has been an incredibly stressful experience, and I hope this feedback encourages improvement in communication, sensitivity, and overall handling of probate matters.
Awful experience. Be very careful when choosing a solicitor to settle wills and probate. Our experience with Gareth Day was just awful, in the end we had to raise a formal complaint to get my parents estate settled. Opening letter from jones and co gave time estimate of 6 to 12 months but actual time was 3 years ! The bill is not fixed but based on time spent. We found Gareth Day unorganised and repeatedly gave us false information, he lost signatures for investments and requested these multiple times and didn’t follow up agreed next steps from meetings with him. I’ve lost count on emails sent to him chasing work to be completed. I have multiple emails from Gareth with his opening line ‘ forgive me for having to chase me ‘. I would not recommend. He left the firm without even handing over the file. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend
