Called due car not turning over after the recent cold weather. Howard was with me in around an hour after calling, very quickly diagnosed the battery as being dead and the cause of the issue. Had the old battery out and a new one in very quickly and efficiently, even better was the price was around half of what we had paid previously at the garage!
Howard was brilliant. Rang him after my car wouldn't start, he explained he was just on a job the other side of town but will then come across. Sent a text message when he was on his way. Polite, well knowledgeable man. New battery needed, fitted there and then. Booked MOT in with him for later in the year. Would recommend 100%

I have been using Howard for 7 years and have used him solely on every car I have had. I have friends and family ringing me when they have a problem to see if I could ask Howard to just have a look at it but 9 times out of 10 he will fix it for you there and then or get you on your way safely before he comes back the next day to finish the job. He is also very accommodating to your needs and requirements, he picks my car up for it's MOT first thing and has it back passed and sorted before the school run even starts. He is a very caring and honest person and trustworthy these traits are hard to come by especially in the trade industry. He always asks about my career and my son who has known howard all his life, he now enjoys watching Howard at work and he also checks to see how I am and he doesn't ask anything in return maybe the odd tea or coffee once in a while. He always rings for the parts you need Infront of you and tells you the best course of action to take and when it's best to be done like changing both springs on the car because you are saving yourself the hassle of sorting out 2 different days for the same work to be done and he explains it in a way you trust is correct not because it benefits him because he would rather be paid twice for 1 job right? He also helped with my car that's engine had started dangerously coming apart from the inside out and instantly explained how severe the problem was and if driven or started the camshaft or pistons would have come through the top of the engine and possibly injuring me or my son severely or worse someone else. I already trusted him but this made me realise how good of a man he actually was he could of taken the car away stripped it down and charged me for the privilege, instead he told me to scrap it at no charge for coming out as it was so bad he knew it was scrap when he turned over the key. My son's mother even asked for Howard to look at a problem with her car because a reputable garage had been messing her around and kept changing the problem after charging and fixing it for her after weeks of different appointments she asked me to speak to Howard because I trusted him and he had sorted the family cars out before. I told him the situation and gave him her number. I asked him to let me know if it was bad and if there's anything I could do to help them resolve it but I never heard from them about it again. A few weeks later I asked how the car was getting along and she said Howard came round in the afternoon and sorted the main problem out and lots of other small bits in less than 2 weeks. So from such a low, confidence zapping situation to be able to trust a mechanic again and not feel fobbed off or listened too in such a short time shows how wonderful Howard is. She still uses him now and I haven't had to speak to her about cars again at least.........
Amazing service! Have used Howard a few times now for various repairs/services on our car. He turns up when he says he will, is very friendly yet professional and is honest about what work is required. Would definitely recommend!
