Lewis came to fix a tumble dryer After looking at it said he would get the parts but would I pay his visit £88 fee and he would be back to do the repair. Number of Tex and messages to him which were not replied from him and not seen him since. £88 for nothing

Was hoping for good things as Tom recommended by a few people from facebook to fix a dishwasher. Engineer came advised needed to be reset and put on a cycle. I only had to pay the call out charge and i even tipped him £5 extra i thought great as had no dishwasher for a month. 15 minutes into cycle the dishwasher started to malfunction again. I called and advised of the problem. The engineer then advised that it was a circuit board. To which i thought, how do you know what the issue is when u have not returned? Engineer advised he would order part and be back. Never heard from him since. 10 days later still no dishwasher.
