   Disappointed. Our motorhome went in for the grill repairing. Cost seemed very steep for a strip out to access and replace the thermocouple at over £300 but that's not the worst of it. On our first trip since repair, when we plugged in to the site electrics, it was only by chance we saw the electric ring was left turned on. We use a padded cloth to stop the gas hob parts rattling while travelling, and if we hadn't noticed, I dread to think what the outcome could have been. Then the electrics were behaving oddly on site, and on checking, the negative battery terminal was loose because the clamp had been forced and was broken. This wasn't the case when it went in, and I can only assume, it had been disconnected for the electrical work, and not replaced properly on completion. Will NOT be using these people again EVER.

   I recently had a problem with loss all gear selection on our Adria sonic Motorhome. After a costly visit to Fiat main dealer for a diagnosis with no result and lack of confidence, had the good fortune of finding Calder valley Motorhome via a Google search , reference gear box problems. After speaking with Martyn he diagnosed the problem prior to see the motor home but confirmed 100% once I visited with the motorhome. Although it ended being a big job, I was more confident that Martyn & team would do a great job at a sensible price. I was pleased with the who quickly the job was completed & cost of work carried out. I would have a problem recommending Martyn & Calder valley Motorhomes over main dealer. Although the journey to drop off & collect the motorhome was 245 miles it was worthwhile trip. Thank you Martyn & Team

   What a lovely team of people. Martin was so kind to look at my van at very short notice and get me back on the road to continue my holiday. Embarrassed to say it was something of my own making, but I learned a lesson. The world could do with more Martins. Thank you x 10 ⭐

   Resolved an issue with Motorhome extractor fan by just replacing the faulty motor. Other MotorHome repairers wanted to replace the whole roof light which to me sounded like they just wanted to line their pockets. Honest and straight forward which is a rarity nowadays so would 100% recommend and will definitely be using Calder Valley MotorHomes again for servicing and repairs.
