   Exceptional service and integrity, I can’t thank Richard enough! I had an automatic transmission issue for over 6 months after replacing my engine and removing the DPF, car was shifting gears too soon and was very jerky. Dozens of mechanics in Ireland looked at it—nobody could diagnose it, and most told me I’d need expensive repairs. Then I found Richard. Within a short time, he discovered the problem and fixed it with a simple calibration. No overcomplicated explanations, no unnecessary parts—just skill and honesty. He could have charged me a fortune (I wouldn’t have known any better). That kind of integrity is rare in this trade.    Gave my Audi s3 into Richard, at first it wouldn’t go into any gear and was stuck in gear 7 he reset the box for me, repaired the solenoids on my mechatronic unit and also repaired the tcm module. Honest bloke and great set of lads. Knocked the job out in 3 hrs. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Top bloke and pricing was better than anyone else. Highly recommend and if I ever have an issue with any other gearboxes l I’ll recommend him!

   I was recommended by a friend for my gearbox work to Knightsbridge transmissions. When Richard test drove it with me he said its not the gear box but to be sure he needs to do a diagnostics on computer and also get it on the ramp to see whats wrong underneath. For all that Richard did not charge me a single penny as anybody else would charge anything between 80 to 100 pounds just for diagnostics. He recommended to replace toe rods and arms on both sides which I did and car is spot on. Their professional honesty and integrity really impressed me and I have no doubts in recommending Richard highly to anybody who needs their transmissions or engine work doing. I have already recommended him to two of my mates. Tnx again Richard for sorting me out.
