I have had my engagement ring repaired at Phillips and am absolutely delighted with the result. They have done a superb job and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family. Lovely people to deal with too.
The product ordered was nice. The staff were somewhat unorganised. They quoted me a balance twice that was agreed then charged £20 more when I retrieved the item. My ticket clearly had 2 balances on it. The one I was quoted was highlighted and I was charged £20 more by the lady. Clearly intentional. Beware and challenge overpriced items.
I had a repair done on my engagement ring which was 1st class. Their service was friendly & very professional & I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Last year I took my engagement ring to be valued and made larger, they did the valuation, but not altered the size, after collecting it, a stone was not secure, when they secured it the mounts were so rough, they scratched against things, so, fourth time back to Ilkley where they charged me for their mistake saying they hadnt seen the ring before. 120 miles for poor service, not returning again.
Phillips repaired a rose gold chain for me. Couldn't have asked for better service and the price was very good. I am a very happy customer and will definitely be returning. They also gave me advice on a wedding ring because my engagement ring is unusual and will need a bespoke wedding ring alongside it.
