Pair of shoes I bought September 7th for my daughter started disintegrating. The top is peeling off in chunksβ¦Went for a refund. Proof of purchase on my credit card statement. First salesgirl attempted to refuse my request for a refund by asking me if shoes were bought in same condition as being returned ( obviously not ). I asked for a Manager who also refused a refund asking if the shoes had been bought from H&M Worcester which is very clearly evident from my credit card statement with the date of purchase and the store identification. Manager asks me what time I purchased the shoes. If I was served at a till β¦ I found all this rather off and told her I could not remember who served me or the exact time I visited the shop. In the end the manager insisted she could only give me a voucher β¦ effectively forcing me to spend my money in their store again β¦ surely this is in contravention of consumer rights ? My understanding is that if a product had manufacturing defects, it should be repaired, replaced or customer given a refund β¦ is the product of purchase with the exact amount paid for the item and store code and name on my credit card not considered to be sufficient proof of purchase ? I told the manager I was taking the voucher reluctantly and would escalate a complaint against the store. Anyways β¦ better avoid β¦ poor product and extremely poor customer service.

Picking out clothes and the staff were just giving weird stares without a word. Still 20 minutes to closing time, arm full of clothes to try on, got to the blocked off changing room and was told by staff they close the changing rooms 30 minutes before closing time to "sort through items". That's ridiculous.

Recently went to the worcester store, after waiting for one girl to be done with a customer, she was finishing up. Made eye contact with me and walked off before I could ask for help, to go joke around with a co worker, so I continue to wait for the other girl. Ask my question. And she asks to serve the person behind me. Before helping me further. Then when another customer joins behind me, finally asks a coworker to assist, he did his best but we couldn't find what we wanted..

Inexistent customer service. Been looking for a dress that was in stock in store in multiple sizes - after asking 3 different members of staff, I left without a dress as none of them knew where the stock is. I was absolutely appealed when I was told by one of the staff that "There is stock, but I can't help, sorry". There's people out there that would love this job and your employees just don't care, perhaps a performance review would help ?

A bit disappointed in limited choices. Confusing having sale items and end of line stock.

Always like coming in because of the clothes. Lately the sizes aren't ideal tho, went in today and looked at some tops and dresses I really liked, only sizes 8 and 10 out there. Staff were pretty disinterested and kind of miserable. Asked this one guy for help and he barely acknowledged I was speaking to him. Idk who was more judgy tbh, the staff or the stampede of 13 year olds. Might stick to zara from now on.

Although clean and airy the lift with the pram was tight and also dark. Once downstairs maneuvering the standard sized pushchair was a nightmare as the displays are so close together. No one was manning the downstairs pay and the queue upstairs was relatively long with two girls working hard so we left our shopping there as it was not worth the wait sorry.

Had a really good experience here recently, I couldn't find a specific pair of shoes from the online store and a brilliant member of staff, Marta found them straight away and helped me out with my vouchers at the till. Really impressed :)
