   1 star review as I can't leave none, I've been with this company a few years and had emailed to advise I wished to canel the policy. They responded very quickly advising it had been cancelled but I needed to pay a £52.50 fee for early termination. This basically took the policy through to renewal date! They did not let me know this before cancelling the policy, I responded saying leave it in place then but was advised they had already cancelled it and if I did not pay the would issue debt collection proceedings.

   Awful company if you decide within 14 days not to go through with insurance you fortify two months worth of insurance you gave up front on the pretext of admin fees. Be very careful with this company who do not care for ethical conduct!!

   Shambolic. No documents received and then tried to charge me more for the policy once the 14 day cooling off period was over. Avoid like the plague.

   £65 minimum cancellation charge outside of the cooling off period even if they cannot continue to provide cover for you. I do not recommend them at all.

   I tried cancelling the house insurance policy I bought on behalf of my elderly uncle. When I read through the policy after buying it through a comparison website I realised it was unsuitable. I tried cancelling within the 14 day cooling off period and to get his money back but despite emailing and calling we've heard nothing. So well done Deeside Insurance Brokers - you've upset an elderly gentleman, received a very negative review and all for the measly sum of a little over £100 - hope you think it's worth it. Shame on you

   Watch out for these guys. Make sure you read every word of every document you receive from them, as you won't have any comebacks if you ever need to cancel your insurance. I took out insurance, cancelled after 10 days due to unforeseen circumstances. This was supposed to be acceptable within the "14-day cooling off period" however in the small print they whacked on a whole bunch of charges and even the ombudsman couldn't help me. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

   My insurance auto renewed at the end of Feb, and I now have to cancel my insurance as I sold my Vehicle. To end my insurance policy it is going to cost me hundreds, but on the document I have all I can see is a £65 charge. Be careful if you are thinking of using this company and check for any small print
