No one should ever choose this company. Everyone in the reviews section is absolutely correct, this company is terrible. I have been paying them for the last 7 years and I have just experienced my first accident damage. I also had an inspection today to check my damage kitchen roof and bathroom roof. They just checked my bathroom roof for only 5 mins and straight away said βthat wonβt be coveredβ

Spoke to Jessica this morning regarding the policy premium increase from Β£400 to Β£702 without no reasonable explanation. No claims ever made in the 6 years of being with yourselves and no other variables changed on the policy yet being told that its just gone up and you need to pay is unacceptable. I would like to make a complaint due to the customer service and the policy renewal price.

Trying to get the Β£500 contribution for getting a new boiler, they will tell you just need the invoice and new boiler certificate but when you make the claim they will ask for more non related stuff and full excuses to make you fail to get the claim, and their policy is full of word games. They won't tell you the full details when asked. They will blame you for not reading the policies by yourself. Added pictures so you can see each time they keep asking for more proof until you don't have more so you wont be able to get the claim. (reimbursement is part of Paymentshield)

DO NOT USE. I have been paying Β£18 a month for the last 4 year. I have never made a claim I live in a small studio flat in a modern building. Today they decided to up my policy to Β£56.80 a month I had no fore warning about this. In this economy you can't just take Β£60 out of people's accounts. That could be someone's food for the month. A %300 increase is just ridiculous. Cancelled my policy immediately. And now they get nothing from me.

Avoid at all costs. I've paid insurance in full annually for over 25 years and just experienced my first emergency accident claim - it won't be with this Company again going by this process! Shocking service to say the least. Be aware that this company cannot handle claims internally and is reliant on different underwriters to provide the various buildings, contents and emergency accident cover. They can only handle complaints, but not action anything. We had a bad leak in the bathroom Monday evening which severely damaged the kitchen and it's electrics. Summer holidays with kids at home without boiler, oven, internal microwave, hob and freezer contents lost. We have had to stay in every day this week due to false promises about an electrician being assigned to visit. It's Friday evening now and we still don't have the electrics signed off to turn back on again. They now say Monday at the earliest. Their accident emergency contractors lie by saying they've attended the property when they haven't and put false notes on the system. Look elsewhere!

I pay monthly for insurance cover. I have called to claim, I read my policy and are aware I have the appropriate cover. The man I spoke with was extremely rude and patronising. He wouldn't explain clearly why the claim could not be processed and advised because I have a Sky TV not a 'Samsung' none of the suppliers can process it. ???? what am I paying for if I cannot use my insurance? with an attitude like that shouldn't be working in customer service. Absolutely shocking service. EDIT: I am unable to reply to the below. However, I have NOT received an email nor do I have a missed call. I would like to take this further please can you actually contact me rather then making it look like the issue has been resolved when it has not. Why am i paying monthly for ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE COVER IF I CANNOT USE IT IN THE TIME OF AN ACCIDENT.

Since Friday 16th December, I have been trying to contact Paymentshield emergency helpline to report a water leakage and each time, I couldnβt reach even after waiting around 90 minutes. I have managed to reach the team on 18th Dec, on my 6th attempt after waiting for one hour and 52 minutes. Finally, emergency engineer booked for 01st January 2023 between 9.00am to 1.00 pm. (CLAIM REF: 337457). I have absolutely no hope to reach the utterly inefficient customer service again without wasting my time. It is very unlikely that this leak will keep on going without any damage to the property. By the time it comes round to January, massive damage may have been caused. Honestly the worst company I have to deal with. Unfortunately, there is no option for 0 start, I would have chose it otherwise. Home emergency NEVER EVER answer the call or just cuts off. expected people to stay in this cold weather with no heating and hot water for 36hrs before even able to discuss! That is with two under aged kids too. Absolutely Shocking.

Never needed to claim insurance before, but unfortunately someone broke into our garage, destroy the big garden gate and garage door and stole our 2 e-bikes during the day. Initially on the first phone call I was told that it will be fine, we can claim it under personal item possession (less than a half of the bikes worth). After 3 weeks they send an email explaining that: "You were previously advised this would be covered however this was incorrect due to the policy wording". Very bad communication, no email acknowledging, very disappointed, definitely will be looking for a new insurer. Worth to mention that this insurance wasn't cheap and e bikes are unspecified personal possessions.

16 years and no claims. Water leaking through crack in ceiling reported Saturday, told a surveyor booked for the following Friday and our claim is pending verification. Well, it came down Monday morning - verify that!! Massive hole in our bedroom ceiling and water coming through, made numerous calls to the emergency number which apparently is dealt with by a company called LIV - they can't even find a policy for us let alone a "pending verification" claim. This is appalling customer service and I would NEVER recommend - definitely mis -sold.
