Steve is an amazing man, and I can't thank him enough. My 38 year old Sony hi-fi component system needed repairing, as no sound was coming out nor were the tape decks working. This is just the kind of local repair business that needs to be kept going. All too easy to bin broken tech, hi fi amp in my case and replace with new when a £60 repair can save you spending a few hundred or more on new. Great, friendly and good value service.
My amplifier recently died on me, as one of the parts had worn away with use over time - after contacting Service Systems they were incredibly helpful and managed to have my issue fixed in 3 day. The cost for repairs and parts was incredibly well priced, if you're looking for somewhere local to fix your audio equipment I would recommend these.
