Fantastic swim Sunday morning. Staying with friends nearby and missed my usual swim. Booked this and was very surprised. The pool was a pleasant temperature. My local lido only heats to a very bracing 19 degrees. Everyone very friendly. Highly recommend

Lovely local pool facility. Reasonably priced and never over busy as numbers controlled so best to book online. Make use of this heated pool or we may loose if this nonprofit community project is not supported. Lifeguards are always used.

Nice well maintained community outdoor pool. Lots of seating and some sunbeds all available free after your entry price. Addition to the main pool is a toddler pool

What an amazing swimming school! After years of my little boy being absolutely petrified of water and not wanting to have any water near his face, he is now swimming unaided and with know one holding him! Thankyou so much to all the team and to Claire for all your help and support, we can’t wait for our next session!

My mum and myself started the conditioning swim 6 weeks ago and we both get alot from this class. Claire the teacher is very friendly and encouraging. The pool is lovely and all facilitities are of a good standard. We would recommend you try this class or go for a swim in this lovely pool.

First time going to the pool today and have to say I'm a little disappointed. The pool itself is lovely for an old outdoor pool, noy as warm as expecte , plenty of seating too. However....the lifeguards don't seem to be bothered, one from one side of the pool had to walk round to talk to some kids who were right infront of the other lifeguard who was more interested in how he looked. The changing facilities are basic but fifty. The disabled changing had a tampon on top of the toilet roll holder, the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while ,poo all up the seat and sides, rubbish all over the floor. The water you walk though to the pool looked like it had seen better days and a 1000 feet trampled though it. I get it run by volunteers but surely they can check the toilets etc. Such a shame as its so nice to swim outdoors I'm afraid we won't be back as locals

Read before booking Swimming lessons!! If you're planning on booking a Preschool or younger aged child into Swimming lessons, check their height first. They need to be over 1m tall in order to confidently stand touching the floor, as they're expected to float/tred water unaided on their 1st lesson! I was not advised of this beforehand and my child struggled to do this, resulting in them exiting the pool after less than 2 minutes, very upset and scared to return. Kingsteignton Swimming Pool strictly will not refund the £45 paid for my childs lessons, as its against their policy, despite it being extremely unsafe for my child to be in the water!

Went along to the pool for the first time today and wow, what a little gem! Water quality was excellent, staff friendly and engaging and the facilities, although basic, lovely and clean! Will definitely become a regular customer here!
