    I went in to return a faulty laptop I’d bought less than 30 days ago. I expected it to be a simple refund, but it turned into a complete mess. The first time I went, they told me it had to be collected from my house. So I called Argos, and they said I needed proof from ASUS saying it couldn’t be repaired. After going through all that and getting the confirmation from ASUS, I went back to the store — and they still refused to refund me. They told me I needed a manager present (which isn’t true under UK law), and even when I asked for the assistant manager, they refused. I even have the conversation recorded because I genuinely couldn’t believe how unprofessional it was. Even ASUS told me I never should’ve had to get proof — Argos should’ve refunded it right away. I’ve been messed around, given wrong information multiple times, and denied my legal right to a refund. Really disappointing experience. Would not recommend this store to anyone

    welcome to the couldnt care less club , went into argos . nobody serving at all on the front counter. saw a sign saying collections , so waited for 5 mins as id ordered on line and came to collect . a girl called mandy came out , totally ignored me and walked past me as if i wasnt there and went to serve a customer who had arrived after me . as she walked past me again i said that i was here before the previouse person . her reply wasto ask what i had ordered ......no sorry or apology, i showed her my ref number and she said i was at the wrong collection area. i said well it says collections here and that i wouldnt be shopping at argos again due to being ignored . her reply was FINE , THATS OK , i walked to the other collection point , where after giving her my ref number., i asked her to cancell and refund my card. will i ever shop at argos again ???? you bet your life i wont. being ignored and rudeness are my pet hates , i can spend my money anywhere

    Very good customer service. I went inside to pick up my iPhone 14 Pro Max with an Alienware Laptop and the staff quickly gave me my items with a smile. Very nice place too. Everything went swimmingly, except the time I almost slipped into the frozen goods aisle and bashed my head on the side. I have mild concussion but at least I can play Genshin Impact on my new laptop :)

    i would give 0 stars if that's possible.. bought a sewing machine on the 1st of dec. my dad tried the machine straight away and it was doing a strange noise so obviously i had to take it back to argos. went on friday morning and a young lady was so kind she asked me what's was wrong with the machine i explained everything and also show her a video i made on the phone as proof so she can listen the strange noise too.. she kindly explained to me that she ordered a new one for me to exchange but i needed to come back in the afternoon. in the afternoon i went back and i explained everything , show the video to another lady working there and she said to me that i need to wait because she doesnt have knowledge of machines.. she called one of her colleague indian, and this lady started to looking the machine saying firstly that a piece is missing but i didn't lose it as my dad packed everything.after that she found that piece and she started making excuses saying that the fault is ours because we missed the timing of the machine... so now everyone with a basic knowledge of sewing machine the basic ones should know that that type of machine dont have a proper timing and she started giving the the fault to my dad and saying that she is right because she is in the business from 30 years... i politely asked her then what the hell she is doing in the argos if she is in this sewing business from 30 years???? rude people never going back to them. AVOID AT ALL COST

    The first time I had to come to this Argos and wow I won’t be going back if I have to. The staff literally didn’t want to get up off their chairs to serve me. I know it’s a Sunday but if you don’t want to do the job don’t work there- they were too busy talking about how they can sort out world hunger (sarcasm). The young member of staff who served me was half asleep and didn’t even acknowledge me or what I was saying. New staff is needed for that place, people that actually enjoy customer service.

    Slightly nicer than your average inner city hole. Less detritus. All modern ordering and pickup. Quite snazzy for an Argos. Not that I'd ever shop here considering prices are about 30% higher than buying online.
