Just visited Poundland at Merry Hill and was amazed by the wide selection of products they offer, all for the unbeatable price of £1! From household essentials to snacks and toiletries, they had everything I needed and more. The store was well-organized and the staff was helpful. Definitely my go-to for bargains!
the staff were rude and shouted at me, good food but horrible rude staff who acted as if they were in the middle of a world war
Despite the name I didn't see a single pound here. Always good for a bargain but shop smart, not everything is cheap or cheaper here.

Popped in to get few bits had everything I went in for. Not really pondland anymore so you need to check prices on items before you put in the basket. Needs to re-named Pounds and Above
I always buy my posting materials from here. Since I am a body shop consultant I do post alot and most of the time, have to send it free as a good will or nice gesture. Can't go wrong with prices I pay here. Definitely recommend this place. X
Very friendly lady at the self checkouts helping everyone with their shopping and helping if people were struggling with self scan. She got me a bag when asking. The shop could have done with a bit of a tidy but otherwise it was a nice experience.
Only 4 star because they have very few serving staff and they have gone to self serve check outs...having said that they make a fantastic effort as their check outs are programmed for the time of year e.g. Halloween they were scary. Christmas there were seasons greetings. And now they have love messages for Valentine's. So 10/10 for effort but the loss of the personal touch is sad xx
