I have always found Coop staff to be friendly and helpful in Great Wyrley branch, until recently. A few weeks ago I went in with my 3 year old granddaughter and asked for a bag at the till from a male staff member we will call J. He totally ignored me, I thought he hadn't heard but another staff member asked him and he said she wanted a bag or something. I let that one go as I thought he may be having a bad day. I went in today at lunchtime and he asked if I wanted a receipt, I replied yes and he threw it down . I told him that this was the second time he had been rude and that his attitude was shocking. He walked off to the other till in the cigarette selling area. I dread being served by him.
This store has a fairly good selection of food. It is located on a housing estate so is perhaps more of a convenience store and the more expensive prices reflect this. However they do have a loyalty scheme which pays a very small amount of money to spend in store, and weekly money off coupons on items bought regularly.
Coop Great Wyrley, is a great place to shop,reasonable prices, friendly staff and have items you want. The chilled Salmon is nice and fresh, lovely taste too.
Local supermarket with convenient, long opening hours. Extremely well stocked with all types of food. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
This place is simply amazing!!! Not only do they sell human food but they even sell food for cats - see picture. Only negative is that they didn't stock spare parts for a 2006 Vauxhall Corsa. :) Keep up the good work. :)
Lovely local shop with excellent deals and I love using my Co-Op card. My boyfriend and I had jacket potatoes from here not so long ago and they tasted lovely.
