The staff are really nice here but they could have at least 2 people at the checkout at peak times

Staff here are lovely but queue wait times are ridiculous...and it's been made so much worse by it now having a post office counter. At most times, one staff member is not enough to cover both counters. Big queues at both, it needs 2 people!..or it needs a system for somebody to be called to the tills when people are waiting. There are other staff members in there that can work the tills, yet are self stacking etc, call them up!.. they don't seem to care that people are waiting a long time. The instance yesterday was that I queued for 15 minutes to buy 1 food item. I wanted some postage stamps as well so I asked if that could be done at the same time, no. I was told I had to queue up again at the counter 2 feet away.. I walked out the door! This is awful. Something needs to be done!! If you want to know how to do it right, visit Streetsbrook road shop and post office, who are excellent.

I tried to visit with my partner who uses an electric wheelchair however there is no ramp outside the shop so she couldn't go inside. So we didn't use the shop. Both of us were very disappointed they don't have a way for disabled people to use the shop.

I've been coming to this shop for years, multiple times a week but I was saddened to be accused of stealing today by the female staff member with short black hair. They thought I had put a fanta can in my jacket pocket and scowled whilst asking "what about the one in your pocket" when paying. They didn't believe I had nothing in my pockets till I took my jacket off, shook it and out turned the pockets. "I caught you at a wrong time" was their response. Puts a dent in your day to be treated like that.

Post office was a nightmare, wanted a packet for my parcel waited in the queue for the post office to be told that I couldn't purchase the packet and had to wait in the queue for the newsagent to purchase the packet. The whole process was quite long and the customer service wasn't great.
