Well having done the unthinkable with my pride and joy (height restriction barrier) Velosure were amazing..! My Brompton was stolen in a park, which was frustrating and disappointing. I was impressed and pleased with the remarkable speed with which Velosure adjusted and settled my claim. The claim was accepted with a few hours of completing my claim form and providing the relevant evidence. Within less than 24 hours, the settlement had cleared in my bank account. It was a painless process. I cannot fault Velosure and it has been a huge boon after the stress and disruption of the theft. I’d unreservedly recommend Velosure to friends and fellow cyclists.
Have been a Velosure customer for over 10 years. Have made two claims in that time, one for a theft and one for a non-fault accident. On both occasions they’ve been excellent. Very responsive customer service and claims were handled very fairly; no quibbles with replacing the bike / paying out. Highly recommend them.
Just renewed my ebike insurance with Velosure. Changed from one bike to two and the process was just a phone call. I dealt with Anne who was excellent and made the process very easy ... plus she has great customer service skills. For the price and quality of service I don't think you could do better.
They handled my claim (stolen bicycle) really well, and paid out a good portion of the value for my loss. The claims process was relatively easy, and I'm retaining cycle insurance with them (on another bike) because of this. So I am a happy customer.
Can not believe that I had to claim, just thought it would never happen to me ! So after my issue happened not only was I very fed up about the break in but I was then filled dread of all the impending hassle that follows. Well I can assure you I was shocked. Right from the off my reporting the incident and process of claim etc were dealt with very very fast. The police were an absolute waste of time, unbelievable in fact. It’s shocking that the police have reduced them selves to this level of no use or ornament ! Anyway back the service I received from velosure. Absolutely brilliant, I cannot praise them enough. After writing off an expensive road bike in a crash, Velosure were quick to help and very reasonable throughout our claim. It has been a smooth and straightforward process to claim a new replacement, with Velosure paying the shop directly as soon as the invoice was finished. The only delays we had were due to parts being delivered to the shop which is outside of Velosure’s control. It is reassuring to always be able to speak to a human on the phone about the claim details. Would recommend this insurer.
