My partner and I took their carving workshop today; We had the best time! Our teacher was attentive and insightful with help and advice where needed but also let use create in a way we found comfy. I picked up so much new knowledge I can take back to my work at home that I’m excited to use! I was incredibly slow and over ambitious but staff here are patient, kind and incredibly helpful. If you are considering a workshop here or elsewhere, I would highly recommend here over any other experience I have taken. Pricing: I booked this without knowing exactly “what” we would get; having completed the workshop I can confirm that the course is incredibly under priced for the attention, help and product you get. I ended up making my ring WAY bigger and more detailed than I had planned, this was not a problem for them. I would happily have paid an extra £50-80 per person if I had known what I would be getting. 10/10 experience. Great prices, fantastic help and guidance. Talulah was also a great coworker and made sure we were on track.

We did the silver ring workshop and it was a wonderful experience. Sarah is one of the best coaches and very patient. She always tries to make the process fun and keeps it light hearted. The end product we built was better than we expected from our first attempt. She also helped us several time with any small workaround required with patience and care. Definitely recommend the workshops as well as artefacts in the store.

Recently went to Flux's 'Get Hammered' ring hammering event and loved it! It was my first experience of silver jewellery making and Sarah is such a great teacher, very kind and patient. Jordan was an excellent host too and they make a fabulous team together! The gallery itself has a gorgeous range of art and craft pieces, with something for all budgets so definitely worth taking a look!

Pop into Flux on the regular, always a fantastic place for original and unique pieces of art and jewellery. At the Cotham Hill street fair this spring, I took the ring making class which was SO much fun - Sarah is a such a consummate and friendly teacher. Recently have attended their Get Hammered evenings with my friends - a beautiful, atmospheric evening hosted with such warmth and joy by Jordan and Sarah. Can’t rate this place more highly - really is an example what makes Bristol so special.

Step into Flux and you will not only find beautiful jewellery and art but a very warm welcome from Sarah and Jordan. At the back of the gallery is a lovely jewellery studio where I have enjoyed taking courses with the ever inspiring , encouraging and professional teacher Sarah ( the gallery owner). Through Sarah's teaching I have learnt so many new skills , being supported throughout the classes to design and create my own peices and have a lot of fun along the way . I look forward to returning to Flux to attend another class soon.

Did a morning and additional afternoon workshop here and loved it. Not only does the shop have a great selection of great quality work (and a cracking shop dog) but the workshops couldn't have been better. Great tutor and incredibly well stocked studio, results varied slightly but that's more a statement on my skills than the lesson! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit for the shop or to do one of their workshops or courses. I hope to sign up for a longer course soon!

I wanted to give a special present to a friend in Bristol and found a beautiful Dan Chapple vase on the website. As she lives just around the corner from the gallery and I'm in London, I rang and asked if it was possible for it to be delivered. David not only agreed, but wrapped it beautifully and delivered it in person the day before her birthday. He was so kind and helpful, and the vase is every bit as lovely as it looked in the photo. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic selection of contemporary craft: jewellery, glass, ceramic, wood, paintings and print.
