We stayed at Fortnight Manor Farm for a hen do and it exceeded all expectations. The house was absolutely amazing and Bath Holiday rentals were so helpful and were on hand for anything we needed. Kamil who met us at the house to check in was amazing. We were all sad to leave and all want to return in the future. Thank you.
We stayed in the Orchard Courtyard and were disappointed in how dated and run down it was. Location and parking were excellent, but there were so many rules and regulations that it became a bit of a joke. Not worth the money, and definitely not as pictured.
Everything seemed to be going well until the day before I was due to stay. I arranged to stay at a premises with friends for my 40th birthday, booking around a month before our stay and paying in full. I received full details of the premises, including access instructions a few days before. On the morning I was due to leave I received an e-mail with the joining instructions again, and someone copied into the e-mail (who now had my personal information). I then received a call to say that they had just realised they had double booked the premises! They did manage to find somewhere else for us to stay, but this was out of town, with parking some way away and not next to the water, part of booking where we did was that we were due to go kayaking upon arrival. We were given a bottle of champagne and a £50 discount for the inconvenience. We spent this much on taxi's as a result of the location. Whilst the house we stayed in was lovely, it did not make up for the damage that had been done and tainted what should have been a lovely weekend.
I would have liked to put no stars. Filthy dirty, they sent the cleaners back after we called to change the dirty bed linen and clean the kitchen, which had left over food in the cupboards, dishwasher was disgusting, oven didn't work. They do not care at all. Did not bother to return my call. AVOID. So very disappointed it was a special birthday for our mum some family members had isolated for ten days to say at this disgusting place... Terrible customer service AVOID
I've never written a bad review like this before but would urge others not to make the same mistake that I did when booking accommodation through this company. I booked a house in September for a group celebration due to occur this month. Despite being unable to provide the property due to nationwide lockdown, Bath Holiday Rentals refused to provide a refund of the deposit paid. The owner tried to force us into a postponement, claiming that the virus situation would be fine in the summer, a fact which she is completely unqualified to know, particularly when the booking is for 14 people. Her attitude was simply 'tough luck'. After several emails back and forth, with the owner advising that it wasn't her problem or responsibility, I received part of the payment back, but am still £400 out of pocket for a service that I have not used. Would simply not recommend booking with this company.
Hired a house for the weekend it was amazing , few of the rooms in the house
