    Hopefully you will not be appointed AED Adjusting to speed up your claim. They have made a very stressful 7 months more stressful. They do not return phone calls, take days sometimes weeks to approve costings. Over 7 months and we still have no idea when we will be able to return to our property.

    Totally agree with all the other reviewers. Been fighting for over 2 years to get a settlement from this mob. Takes weeks to get an answer to emails. Pointless ringing as they either don't answer the phone or just fob you off if they do. They make insinuations of your integrity. Initially refused my claim but I appealed to the Ombudsman who found in my favour. They were supposed to settle in a month but I had to go back to the Ombudsman to chase them up and they then made an offer of half of what I am due. Still finding any reason not to pay up. The policy is with Tesco whom I have complained to 5 times now and they are just as bad. Keep clear of this mob and Tesco Insurance as well. It comes hard even to give them one star.

    One year to date since we were evacuated due to a gas explosion in a neighbours house, NOTHING has happened everything is exactly the same as it was on the 1st December 2023 when we were evacuated absolutely nothing has been done, we even had to find our own alternative accommodation which I believe they arranged for some other firm to take credit and charge the insurance company a monthly fee until we found out and stopped it, can't believe a company can exist by doing nothing, It's a great job easier & far better paid for less than if you were unemployed. It's a pity that the lowest score you can give for this company is one star

    The worst possible company you can deal with, when you’re already in distress.They will do all they can to muddy the waters and make life difficult- ultimately ensuring your cover isn’t applied. I speak after years of back and forth with them re my claim. Selective memory, ignoring you, all sorts of tactics are used to rip you off. I dealt with Adrian Whittle a most horrid experience Aegas was made aware and overturned his views once we challenged, but only after years of fighting. They need to be investigated as making lives misery. Also, their subcontractor Concunnon are a shower of cowboys who I caught damaging my property and were stood down as a result

    our neighbors had a fire March 2022 - We only luckily suffered only smoke damage... its October 2023 and we are just about trying to close loose ends - that alone hopefully tells the reader how these guys operate. Incompetence is an understatement. The only reason we are getting to place to close this is because I feel managing them was my second job. Everyone is incompetent in this company In 1.5 years, I got a total of 2-3 emails. They are allergic to emails. I don't think they know how to use a computer. You can't contact them - because loss adjusters don't carry cellphones. They also don't know how to return calls. It's taken us 5 months to install the carpets because they don't know the concept of "follow up". We initially thought it was the person who was handling our case (loss adjuster 1), but half way through they swapped our contact (without telling us...) and the second was just as incompetent. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. When your house goes through something like this you are already stressed and going through stuff, these guys will just make that worse for you.

    AED were appointed to my claim by ageas. They were great at first and they made visits to the severely damaged building within weeks. They filled me full of confidence with their abilities. Don’t be fooled. Ask for a different firm. After sourcing quotes myself for the work they appointed their own contractors to quote the work who gave a quote Β£10,000 lower than my 2 contractors. They then took over 4 weeks to β€œreview” the quotes. They never remained in contact and I found I was having to phone every other day to which I was just being told it was in review. I finally had enough and it took me 14 phone calls and the request to speak to management in the same day to get some movement. They then wouldn’t consider a different quote other than their own. I complained to Ageas who pushed them into moving the case along due to the building being dangerous due to an explosion. They left us with this situation for 2 months. We had high winds and bad weather threatening the collapse of the building. AED have told Ageas that they remained in contact with me throughout, which they haven’t. I wish I’d read reviews on them before accepting them as the loss adjusting company. They lie! They need investigation!!! Terrible company and the office staff are rude! Ageas now won’t do anything about the complaint as AED lied to them and told them they’d kept in contact but they haven’t. Professing this further as it seems a running trend with r his company!!!

    Terrible! my claim is still ongoing from April 2022 after a house fire and they have just been ignoring my emails as if dealing with this sort of incident isn't enough already. Just can't get through to these people at all. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!!

    Truly Awful business. on hold over the phone between 30 and 60min each time, Email address provided bouncing back, not following or chasing reports, taking days/weeks to move claims, no sense of urgency when help is needed most during fire claim, even the insurance contracting AED to manage the claim on their behalf has had to raise a complaint as they were so unsatisfied with their service. Lady was rude over the phone to me and talking over me, they kept saying they will make a note and chase report bu nothing is happening. Company shouldn't even be in business... avoid at all cost and ask your insurance to use a different loss adjuster if you can change as you are in for a world of pain believe me.

    Absolutely shocking, a truly awful company to deal with! They lie at every possible opportunity and never keep to any promise they make! Save yourself the headache and ask for a different loss adjuster. Four months after a garden fire and I'm still no further forward from when the fire happened. How this company can still operate is truly beyond me. Honestly stear well clear off them at all costs.

    4 months and still no update on fixing a simple garden wall. Seemed annoyed at me when I said I didn't want a cash settlement. Failure to ever call back when promised. Constantly having to chase every few weeks to understand what's going on. Ask your insurance company for a different loss adjuster and save yourself the headache.
