We were early so visited The friendly Library in the same building. Which had lots of activities & interest for children young & older. Then walked through to swim time. Great pool lovely welcoming staff.
Needs lots of updating and could do with a thorough clean, cubicles, floors and toilets need to be cleaned more frequently. Staff however are lovely and friendly. Classes provided are good.
Visited on Sunday 7th for the first time in ages. Okay overall with some plus points. The pool water is warm, as were the showers and it was relatively quiet. The showers aren't that great on the way to the pool, and you have to box up all your clothes and belongings and put them on the side of the pool (as there are no lockers). Although it was relatively quiet, and i had chosen a clear area to do lengths in on one side of the pool, there were a few instructors dotted around who kept getting in the way, so disrupted the swimming (even though they had the rest of the pool to choose from).
I came today for the 1st time with my 14 month old daughter and found it a little disappointing. The pool was freezing cold and my little girl started shivering 5 minutes after getting in and so we had to get her out for what we hoped would be a warm shower but they were barley warmer than the pool. Unfortunately I don't feel I can bring my baby daughter back unless the pool and showers are warmer. It would be useful if there was a sign up or if we were warned at reception about the temperature of the pool.

Great pool, very nice and friendly staff. The showers and changing cubicles started to show their age. Otherwise great swimming and very good value for money, highly recommended
Great community pool. If you pick the right time, you can almost have the pool to yourself! Loads of fantastic teachers/coaches for all from children to pensioners. I've just learned to swim here at age 59 and it's one of the best things I've ever done. Thanks AG.
Only small but we'll organized and safe covid precautions in place. Had a very enjoyable first swim for ages. Hope these good reviews don't lead it to getting too crowded but there are restrictions in place and it's best to book online.
