The staff here were really helpful and knowledgeable at helping us to choose the right travel system. They took the time to go through each of the prams we were interested in and showed us all the features of each. We would definitely recommend.
We had a really great experience with Nurseryland. We picked up our Silver Cross travel system last month, only to realise there was a small fault with one of the poppers on the car seat. We called to report this and within an hour or so they had contacted the manufacturer and had arrange for a replacement part to be sent to us directly. we are very happy with the advice we received in store and the follow-up care provided. Highly recommended.
We visited Nurseryland, Wakefield on Monday after travelling 2 hours. They have a extensive range of travel systems and strollers for all needs. Each one is labelled with key information and price which is extremely helpful. Molly was lovely and welcoming as she helped demonstrate how each stroller folded and lay down. No problem to try little one, in each one to get best fit along with testing the boot space with choosen stroller. Never felt pressured into buying or forced into looking at out of budget items. Would certainly recommend a trip to Nurseryland Wakefield! They also had a range of nursery furniture towards the back of the store. The customer service over the phone prior to the visit was just as exceptional as the in person visit!

They took the time to understand my Daughter’s needs and lifestyle, offering expert advice without any pressure to buy. The range of prams was impressive — from top-tier brands to versatile options for all budgets. Our Daughter ended up finding the perfect one, and also got all her nursery furniture in the one place! they even demonstrated how to use and fold it properly. Outstanding customer service, high-quality products, and a truly supportive atmosphere Eleanor, Donna and Lorraine, are an amazing team I highly recommend this shop to any parent or parent-to-be! The only positive part of my experience here was the amount of prams they had in stock to look at. There are plenty to choose from. Unfortunately, I didnt get a very helpful sales rep. To be frank she was rude and made us leave in a hurry and not return. I went to look at the icandy orange duo after going pram shopping previously and liking that one. I went as I had seen on Facebook they had January sales on and wondered if I could get it cheaper elsewhere. The sales rep showed the the price which was £1210. For this you got the basics. I explained to her that at baby store sheffield and affordable baby rotherham I can get the same pram for £1250 (it is actually £1225 I have a receipt as we left there and bought it from Sheffield) and you got all the extras eg parasol and footmuffs. She essentially said I couldn’t and made me and my partner out to be liars, and if I could ‘prove it’ they would match. I explained it was an in-store deal only and the only proof I had was a write up of everything you got at home. She essentially said well ok then if you want to come back to price match then do that. I left quite hastily feeling very dissatisfied and annoyed I was made out to be a liar.
We ordered our Silver Cross travel system and some nursery furniture from Nurseryland and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The customer service has always been excellent and the staff are so friendly. When we started pram shopping we found some places very unhelpful (even rude) but when we walked into Nurseryland we were helped but not pushed, from the word go. They couldn't do enough for us. We ordered our pram around June time for our December baby and Nurseryland ordered and stored it for us until we were ready to collect last week. We also saw some furniture which they could order and bet an online price we had seen. I would 100% recommend you visit their showroom if you are expectant parents, you won't be disappointed by the amount of choice, big brands, level or service and value for money. Excellent service from all staff. Helpful and showed a genuine interest in our needs. Ordered a while back and told to contact just before we are ready to collect and called last week to say we'd be picking up this week, fantastic service the pram bundle was ready upon our arrival and they assisted with loading into the car. The lady also fitted the car seat for my partner which was helpful. The pram bundle itself (Oyster 3) is fantastic, great deal on all items and excellent quality. Would highly recommend.
Went to nursery land for the first time straight after my 12 week scan, I was so exited and the staff there gave me such an amazing experience and helped keep that excitement whilst I tried out most of the pushchairs!! I eventually picked one with the help of Donna (I remember her name as she was super helpful) I later went back after my 20 week scan to pick out a lovely cot that I had already seen and elenor was fabulous with that too and got it ordered straight away for us so we could make a start on our nursery. Would highly recommend this place for its amazing selection of brands and ability to try EVERYTHING but the staff are so lovely and helpful that it makes the experience exactly what it should be for any mummys and daddy’s to be.
