   If I could rate it a zero I would. The whole team and children’s services need looking into. Knowlsey social services rang me in October 2021 and asked could we care for my partners brother as he’d been placed in a foster home I was in London said we could possibly but won’t be home til Friday We can home on the 15th October social worker agreeed he could stay that was that we was given a bed from children in need, £70 for a coat and left to get on with it no support no financial assessments absolutely nothing Now this is concerning because how many other children are they doing this to? I raised a complaint regarding this 4 years later as I was told we should of been assessed properly and the council refused to acknowledge the complaint orginally and left it for 6 weeks as a “case review” Well Selina Kent the “manager” done the case review and her findings was the most ridiculous absurd things I’ve ever read even the fact she’s confidently stated the child’s age was 17 at the time even though he was 15 but wouldn’t you of checked his dob? Did you put 16 as you knew the duty’s for a 15 year old are different for a 16 and you didn’t want to admit you messed up? You stated the arrangement was between the child’s mum and us even though we had no prior contact with the mum The child was failed by his parents and four years later social services and safeguarding have failed him Please if your using Knowsley safeguarding or social workers get some real support or a solicitor these will lie and cover there own backs and they do informal reviews so it doesn’t trigger a formal investigation it’s wrong They do not have children’s best interests at heart they have themselves

   Would give 0 stars. Awful service. They don't listen. They form opinions not from fact but from what is said. Unprofessional. No support at all. I think this service needs to be closed down. They do more harm than good.

   Both, my older sister and I told Social Services about a problem regarding childrens safety, they did absolutely nothing.
