Pop in regularly as it is close to work. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Well stocked and tidy store.

Recent change of management has brought new life to this store. Always a friendly welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Just what Slaid Hill / Alwoodley needed!

Poor customer experience today. Had an issue with an Evri delivery, but staff totally dis-interested in being helpful. Totally miserable older woman behind the counter on my SECOND visit today to try and find a parcel which had supposedly been delivered, but she wouldn't even go and check for me. Appauling.

I am a regular customer but this shop has gone downhill. The manager was stood on a stool in a hoodie with videos playing out-loud, flirting with the YOUNG girl behind the till whilst she was serving customers and knowing they can hear. He stood there on his phone whilst there was a queue of customers. The bin outside was overflowing with a rat around it. When I mentioned this the manager said he will get someone to do it, they then joked about him cleaning it and he said a lady coming in later can do it. I have even had a few visits where no one is in the shop. I have been a customer since Mike was manager but I will not be returning. To say they are owned by Tescos, very disappointed.

. Some surprisingly good stuff, eg their trifles and tiramasu will beat Sainsbury's, m&s and Co op.Only place around which sells Warburton's large wholemeal loaves( which is what got me shopping there in the first place) Good value " simple" salads , 200gm Jack s coffee £1.99; I won t normally buy cheap coffee, but this is surprisingly good, and there are often good deals on seasonal stuff, like Easter eggs and Xmas stocking fillers.

Most of the people working there are fantastic with their customer service. Unfortunately there is one lady called Shakila who is very rude and unpleasant. She lets the whole shop down. And it's unfortunate she is still there.

Appalled. One stop said hill is the only shop in the area that seems to condone people coming into the shop who do not abide by the covid regs. Today when I went in around 5 there was 4 customers, all in their 20's no masks. Placing the remaining customers at risk. Non of the were challenged by the staff. Sainsbury's over the road, the news agents or Shadwell post office don't seem to have an issue. Unacceptable. People are dying. It is no longer good enough for Major chains like one stop to condone , accept and allow selfish parts of our l community to put others at risk. This is a regular occurrence. Get a grip one stop. I have always shopped with you. No more. You don't deserve local trade if you won't grow a backbone and challenge what is morally wrong and indefensible
