    Ignorant. Called down at 3.20pm. Lights were on but door locked. I pressed the bell and was ignored. The lady behind the counter didn't acknowledge me in any way. Even just to shout "Sorry we're closing:. Lots more places and on examination pay far better rates. Your choice guys but having read other reviews re the goods they sell I'd Google gold prices and check elsewhere for better rates.

    Sent PS5 for looking at! Got it back but was told had to be careful with it! Granddaughter rung Boxing day morning, to say controller wouldn't work properly! 1 of the buttons on the front edge is half out! Plus PS5 unit had some green stuff on it! Granddaughter no too happy!

    Absolutely can't fault these ladies working here, saved my backside when I had health problems and looked after me and my items in store with total consideration and respect. Ten out of ten for them, Brown and Gold are lucky to have such a team! October 2020 Yet again the team at Brown & Gold have demonstrated excellent professionalism and total respect for me while looking after my goods and me during this media fuelled circus of a pandemic! I recommend these three ladies for a promotion and a a wage rise as well, however I don't believe my review carries much weight with the management of Brown & Gold, nether the less Well Done Team!

    I normally deal with Money shop the branch at Dewsbury however it's shutting down and moving all business to the Wakefield branch this was very inconvenient for me as every time I wanted to buy goods out or pay interest off I would have to catch three buses over there however I was speaking to Stacey the manger at batley branch told me that i could pay interest off at Money shop and their would transfer my gold over to batley I could not refuse as its much cheaper Thanks Stacey you are very helpful you alway go that extra mile thats why I always come back.
