The absolute best candles, spruce and clementine & clove are my Christmas must haves. Spruce somehow smells even better than a Christmas tree. I also love the design of the pots, labels, and silver lids. They make a great gift.
I have been buying my candles from Sadie at Embers & Roots for a number of years now. They are exquisite! She offers a superb collection of candles, tea lights + diffusers in a wide variety of scents - all really unique to Embers & Roots. Some of my all time favourites are Cottage garden, Eventide and currently for Christmas the 300ml ‘Nice List’ candle consisting of satsuma, clove & grated nutmeg - a delight for guests to arrive to in our home!
I’ve shopped at Embers & Roots for a few years and they’re now the only place I buy my candles. The scent combinations and throw are on par with much higher end brands and I’ve always enjoyed every one I’ve tried. They look timeless, they arrive in lovely plastic free packaging, and the price is really good for how long they last. The wax melts are also great and super affordable if you enjoy a constant scent in your house but don’t always want to burn through lots of candles! Can highly recommend this lovely independent business for gifts, or a treat for yourself!

My first time buying from this company, and WOW i'm so glad I did! The lengthy time gone into the product and even the packaging is clearly evident. Love the scent from my Christmas Spirit Tin, which gives off just the right amount without being overpowering. Can't wait to get more!
What incredible candles and what an amazing team. The packaging is sleek and elegant, the scents are very natural and not sickly sweet, the service is absolutely amazing as well! I wish I had come across embers and roots sooner because these are the best candles I’ve ever had. If you’re thinking about making a purchase do it because you will not be disappointed. I can highly recommend winter spice for a traditional Christmas scent but gingerbread and pistachio & vanilla are great if you like sweeter Christmas cookie scents.
