Warm, friendly welcome from the guy in the pro shop. He gave me some great advice on where to go and how to play the course. The course itself is a decent test of golf. Tight, tree lined fairways and some tough par 3s. A good all round mixture of holes and some of them were absolute crackers. Definitely worth the midweek green fee and the young lady serving in the bar at the end of the round deserves a mention too. Lovely, friendly attitude. Would absolutely play here again.

My boy (5) got a free membership, the club could not be more friendly and accommodating. He’s done a couple of rounds now and everyone is so friendly, always chatting to him, encouraging him and has a great down to earth atmosphere. The manager Dave even came in to sign him up on a Sunday morning. Great course too, couldn’t be more complimentary. Can’t wait for the summer!

Been here now for a couple of different functions. Room at the back is a great space for accommodating 100 people easy with access to a bar and a small dance floor. Prices for drinks are reasonable too

Hindley GC was a nice course with some good holes considering the weather and rain we had had recently the course was in ok condition, we played at the end of March and they were still playing off fairway mats. Greens had just been worked on so weren't playing at their best. Friendly club fair price with county card discount.

Nice food and drink with views over the course from the outside seating area.

Lovely course especially considering the time of year (played in feb 2023). Greens were small but quick and with plenty of movement, and the course layout was really interesting and gave you alot to think about. All members and members of staff were really friendly and welcoming and I will definately be making another visit soon!

A quite disappointing day was had. Myself and 3 friends paid £25 pp to try the course all with potential of becoming members. From the moment we arrived we regretted it. We was asked to move our cars and told we dont know how u managed get on as a guest like we had somehow sneaked on. There were no clearly signed rules regarding winter play and had numerous jibes on the course due to small errors in teeing off positions. And then when we decided to put some money over the bar for a drink even after all that we were approached by a non golfer who didnt exactly look like he had just walked out of next himself and told if we want to stay having a drink then get your hat off. Again, having never been a member anywhere before we was not clear on clubhouse etiquette. A friendly request would have sufficed. All in all a really bad experience and for the money paid expected a more welcoming experience
