This club is so family friendly. So helpful this weekend when my daughter was struggling with sensory issues. After speaking to stewards they brought me a sensory pack. Made my daughters experience much more enjoyable. Thank you so much.

Watched a friendly there recently. Nice little ground and close to the pitch. Facilities were basic but OK. Decent amount of parking in offical car park, wasn't charged as it was a friendly. I believe you can park round by the terraced houses but some are permit only so mindful of that.

So it was my first time at Prenton Park home of Tranmere Rovers as my beloved team Oldham Athletic were drawn away to Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup First round in the 2024/25 season. So i took my Father-In-Law to the match who is 85 years old and is a proud Scouser and is a Liverpool fan, We arrived at the stadium and straight away you could here our Oldham fans. Really charming old throw back stadium us away fans were in the away end called the cow shed behind the goal opposite the Kop end. The pitch was in fantastic condition and the atmosphere was amazing and we took over 2,200+ fans and we sang from the first minute to 10 minutes after the match had ended. Friendly and polite staff and stewards, Loyal Tranmere supporters, Great old stadium, Parking is an absolute nightmare, The Mersey Clipper is literally in the shadow of the stadium. Me and my Wife post alot of reviews on Google of our honest opinions, feedback and our experiences everything from value, Customer service, Value for money, Cleanliness, restaurants, bars, food, drinks, travel, taxis, Hotels, Airbnbs, flights, beaches, beauty treatments, beach clubs, Football stadiums etc locally, nationally and internationally etc and we have over 29,000,000+ views.

A nice trip over or under the Mersey to Birkenhead even though the bigger clubs seem to get all the press this club has its own big draw for the locals it’s a nice ground also the lady on the phone about buying a shirt was very friendly plus very helpful.

Access to the stadium was quite straightforward, with plenty of parking and free parking close to the ground. The stadium on approach looked quite ragged from the Mendip Road side, but enjoyed looking at the huge badges on the side of the stands. When inside the ground, it was great to see the large stand at the goal end almost empty with Tranmere Rovers in big letters imprinted into the seat, it really looks completely different inside. The facilities were bog standard, and the stewards were helpful. There’s a raffle that they draw at half time too. The food and drink options weren’t great. There was not much to choose from, although the prices were really good for a sports ground. The police atmosphere was significantly increased, as Northampton Town were on the brink of promotion should they have sealed the win against Tranmere. So a bit of rowdiness was anticipated. The atmosphere from the home side was a bit flat first half, but it picked up a little in the second half which left an overall brilliant atmosphere in the stadium.

Good size stadium, the away stand is very dated. Pies were awful at halftime and beer prices are high

Watched Liverpool Women versus Aston Villa Women. The whole experience was brilliant. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were OK but more ladies toilets would have been helpful. There were a few food vans selling hot and cold drinks and snacks which were reasonably priced. A good family atmosphere in the crowd which felt safe and inclusive. I would recommend a trip to the ground.

Lovely ground, easy to get to & park. But no refreshments available in the main stand. Just one little burger van that was closed due to a power cut. The stewards were very jobs worth in stopping us going to a different part of the ground to get a drink and something to eat. We had to escalate this to the senior steward before we could buy refreshments from another part of the ground. This is ground number 75 for me and the first time anywhere I've met such ignorant & obstructive stewards .
