No one even bothering to answer the phone just ringing out been waiting in all day for appointment, terrible
Really disappointed. My 1st appointment was due in week 7 and midwife never rang. They scheduled next appointment a month later. Already missed blood tests which needed doing before week 10, all testing procedures and timings explained well in the booklets they sent out via post so why not stick to the information scientifically explained???? Also further test should have been performed between week 11 and 13 ( 2 blood tests) in 2 of these weeks. They are going to ring me around week 13 as they planned and then book my 1st future bloods for the following weeks, I have already skipped important prenatal tests that I needed done. These combined bloods only tell if women are at high risk of having a child with a syndrome. If at high risk there are further 2 tests (not bloods) which have a risk for miscarriage the 1st of which I would have also missed due to their late response and the fact they missed my telephone appointment and rebooked another 4 weeks later. Why then the midwife fails to book my blood tests scheduling appointments a whole month later and reassuring receptionists that it's ok to skip bloods or do them later when it is definitely NOT ok???? I asked about the complaints procedure and the reply was "This is not going to get you an earlier appointment, love!" Then my question is what will??? Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to private clinics due to financial struggles. This is what is called a medical negligence! I'm dreading having to be looked after by that hospital in my pregnancy or having to give birth in there.
