   Called in today around 4pm even though I was browsing whilst waiting for my wife a male member of staff spoke to me and two female staff helped my wife and I with our purchases. It is nice to have staff help and acknowledge you and be served by real people and not a self service like Tesco,Aldi,Sainsbury's, Asda, Matalan etc. A highly recommended shop.

   I love Poundland, and I love this Poundland, but it doesn't work very well: why were the normal, useful, practical shopping baskets phased out in favour of cumbersome, unpleasant-to-use trolley baskets? Now I don't use a basket at all (the trolley baskets are uncomfortable to reach in to) so actually buy LESS. You can see it every time you're there: people buying the few items they can carry in the crook of one arm rather than use a faffy trolley basket. Just like other places that have this silly basket policy, I would actually buy MORE if Poundland brought back normal baskets. And will the self-checkouts ever work again...?

   If I could give them a zero I would the staff are so rude follow me around like I'm gonna run away with their poundlandy items.

   Nice store, quite large and have quite a large clothes section but is let down by the staff. Slow and always look miserable.

   Nice big store with a good selection of products . We visited on Saturday on the first day it opened so the store was very clean and well stocked. Staff could do with being slightly more friendly because our cashier was not exactly full of joy !
