  1. Asho Ahmed ★☆☆☆☆

This is the worst experience I have had to date. My GP books an appointment with Spire hoping to address my long standing issue as the NHS Hospitals was taking a long time. A week before my appointment with SPIRE I recieve a text message telling me My appointment was cancelled! I then recieve a follow up call to make sure I knew of the cancellation. Few weeks down the line, I call them to find out when I will be receiving a new appointment. At this point my symptoms are getting worse (I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON NHS FOR 2YEARS). I am advised no appointments are available in the near future!! I then ask what if I come in as a private paying patient instead of NHS. I was then told an appointment would be given to me... and if I came in as private I would have to stay as private because if I was to try and get the treatment done as an NHS patient then I would have to go back on the long waiting list. THIS DOUBLE STANDARD IS UNACCEPTABLE. They should be prioritising patients needs not capitalising on them. I am not the First NHS patient to complain about cancelled appointments. They want us to give up. Those who were lucky to have their surgeries have complained of mistreatment. This Hospital needs to be investigated, we are in 2020 this should not be happening.
