   Seeing Chris is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Prior to seeing Chris I’d been struggling with certain aspects of anxiety for almost two years and had tried the NHS route using the free online silver cloud service, which didn’t help me in the slightest. From initially finding Chris online it took me over 6 months to finally reach out and book in for my initial session, as I was worried about the stigma we attach to therapy and thought I could manage by myself, but inevitably I was only feeling worse as time went on and eventually plucked up the courage to reach out. After a short telephone consultation I knew Chris was someone I felt comfortable talking to, so booked in for a face to face session - almost immediately after sitting in the chair for the first time I felt at ease. Chris has a very warm, friendly and welcoming aura which makes you feel relaxed, allowing you to open up in a safe, supportive space. We spoke at length about what had been bothering me and he was very understanding while reassuring me that we could work on my issues. After just one session I was already starting to feel more positive and felt like I was learning a lot about the causes of my anxiety, while importantly learning how to deal with it and left the session feeling hopeful. Now over a year later I feel completely different to how I did when I first walked in to see Chris, he’s helped me regain a lot of confidence back as he’s helped me navigate the causes of my anxiety while offering solutions which genuinely work and importantly don’t require pharmaceutical drugs. I understand that therapy can be a scary thought for a number of reasons, but if you’re on the fence about whether to go and see someone, or you think you can deal with it yourself, or you think you can’t be helped, or are worried if it’s worth the cost, then please just give Chris a call and give it a go. We need to start viewing therapy differently and stop feeling shame or embarrassment about it, instead we should see it as an important way of keeping our minds healthy, just in the same way we would see a personal trainer or physiotherapist to keep our body healthy. Seeing Chris is the best investment you’ll ever make in yourself, it really will change your life for the better and you will not regret it - you’ll likely only kick yourself for not seeing him sooner, just like I did!

   I've been working with Chris for a number of weeks now. we used hypnosis on the second session after my consultation and it was extremely relaxing but also helped uncover a lot of stuff. It's fair to say that I had no idea how destructive my thoughts and behaviours were. Once I was made aware of these things, we started to correct them and my mood is far better and my anxiety is reduced. Im still not fully out the hole but at least I can see daylight :)

   I had sessions in 2014 I only had a few due to changing jobs. But I learnt a lot about personal memories that had been locked away in my mind. Chris is friendly and very knowledgeable. The things I encountered in my sessions he was able to explain to me. I found the sessions helpful and if I was still in Warrington I'd go back!
