   Home Bargains is a large store selling a wide range of goods including food and drink, household items, cleaning products, health and beauty products, DIY products, vehicle maintenance and cleaning products, gardening equipment and tools, paints, plant, children's toys and a whole host of other everyday things. There is lots of free parking available.

   Entered the mostly empty store, bar maybe 5 people and the workers, at 7:51 to grab three items, with a staff member already standing at the door at this point, had them by 7:56 and was looking at the freezers, after getting the butter I needed, whilst making my way to the checkout to see if there was anything I quickly wanted to grab for tea, for a staff member in hi-vis to come marching shouting 'can you make your way to the checkout, we are closed', this was 7:57, there were maybe 4 people in the store at this point and it felt immensely unneeded to be so loud and rude, I was unaware of the time the store closed and believed it to be 9, the way we were approached and the loudness of the gentleman was unneccesary and put a bad taste in mine and my partner's mouth, had we been asked politely to make our way over or been told prior or even at entering the store when the store closed or to make our way to the checkout, I wouldn't think much of it, however the rudeness and entitlement especially declaring the store is closed, using no manners, when it was 7:57 when the man approached towards us, has left me extremely unsatisfied and the same with my partner and after explaining the situation with my mother in law and grandmother in law, they expressed the same confusion and annoyance I have, I am 18 years of age and a woman, having a man approach me so loudly and demanding is scary and left me annoyed and upset. Not to mention when leaving there were 3 or 4 staff members stood just waiting at the door. Just made us feel incredibly unwelcomed and I understand it was closing time, but the store was NOT closed.

   Visited Home Bargains on Monday to exchange two Christmas Biscuit Tins that that were damaged from the online delivery purchase. Efficient Manager on Duty and Customer Service. No issues at all and prompt service.

   Great prices as always, but why are all the tills not on on a Saturday afternoon. Would you really rather have customers queue than put money in the till. As a nation we are supposed to like to queue, I must be one that doesn't really want too.

   Great range of products for home and garden, large store. Staff friendly and helpful. The tills are very close together, so there is not much space, when it's very busy here expect to be queuing for a while

   Sadly being honest this is one of the worst ever stores I’ve been in. Not just in home bargains. Horrendously rude staff who get agitated and rude before closing time and comment sarcastically. Items all over the place disorganised. Poor quality store. Every staff member has a lack of customer service and people skills (which seems to catch on in Doncaster let’s be honest) this store could be way better. Really really bad place.
