Staff here are very friendly and accommodating. However I found the groups were a lot more difficult to get the same sense of friendliness. Most members seem to have their own clicks already and you are left feeling as an outsider. There are plenty of activities going on here, so there should be something for everyone. The therapies are very stretched thin, with long wait times to be accepted, but nowhere near as long as the NHS ones. Very limited on the number of appointments you can have too. The centre is ready to find and looks great too. Overall, I would say it's a great place, with their heart in the right place, does exactly what it needs and set it to do and well worth giving a go if needed, however, it just want the right fit for me.

Hi my names Lee, I was fortunate enough to be seen by two councillors over a period of time a year ago and although some of my sessions at Sean’s place must of been difficult because at times I was in a bad place and emotional, I never said it to them in person but through there help they definitely saved my life on more than one occasion with the non judgmental way & their commitment to help with coping strategies that clearly worked and to this day still work I couldn’t thank them enough for there amazing help that benefited my entire family. THANK YOU SEANS PLACE. xxx

Life-Changing Support at Sean’s Place Sean’s Place is an absolutely incredible charity that has made a huge difference in both my life and my son’s life. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with kindness, understanding, and genuine care from the amazing staff. They truly go above and beyond to support everyone who comes through their doors, offering a safe, welcoming space for men struggling with mental health. The range of activities available is fantastic, giving people the chance to connect, learn new skills, and focus on their well-being in a positive and encouraging environment. The counsellors are incredibly understanding and provide real, meaningful support that makes a lasting impact. Sean’s Place has been a lifeline for me, offering not just professional help, but also a community of people who genuinely care. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling with their mental health – you don’t have to go through it alone, and Sean’s Place is there to help. Thank you to everyone at Sean’s Place for the amazing work you do!
